Yes, telling Altoholic to not show other faction means it doesn't show what the other faction characters have. It *does*, however, continue to show what the other faction *guilds* have.

I use auctioneer, if that matters.
Logged in, checked mail (bunch of sold auctions), walked into AH, opened auction interface, chose 'auctions' and then cilcked 'high bidder' to sort them to the top, and this error popped immediately:

You'd only lose the assigned weight values, and only until you reenabled the weight setting (which would probably cause your WoW to hang again).
Unfortunately, until I get the new version out (which is weeks at best), there probably won't be a good way to deal with this.

Weighted mode's configuration is pretty slow, unfortunately.
You could try turning it off like this:
/run PetLeash.db.profile.weightedPets = false
and then seeing if you can get in the options.
I am working a completely overhaul of the configuration system that greatly improves this, but it's not yet complete.

An easy way to add this function would be to add the line commented to the event parsing at the end of the code:
I added it, I believe correctly, and there's no change in behavior - the button highlighted when I first open a vendor pane is the one for my class.
