Yeah, I used to use Scite also, but I was looking for a more solid notepad replacement in which for example you could search and replace in multiple files.
Right now I'm using Editplus2.

This addon is legal, and in no way a hack or cheat. It uses the Blizzard API, so Blizzard must allow this. If Blizzard thinks this addon must stopped, they rather prevent people from modyfiyng the map or something else then contact the author.

Carthographer
Carthographer_herbalism
Carthographer_mining
InFlight for flight times, and locations of flight masters
TrainerFu for training costs and trainer locations.
And offcourse there is an addon to import data fom metamap and the likes. Cartographer_import can import notes...
