I have tried shft, ctl and alt clicking to zero success. Am I doing something wrong here?
Actually I got it now, seems when you mess with the padding u have to click a different spot, makes it a little buggy and am actually clicking off the icon now.

1. reload ui button
2. Ability to click the name in guild and friend drop down list to pm them.
