It's been a while, and I haven't worked on Reagent Restocker in a long time. Addon support has just been added to the beta in Warlords of Draenor, so it's prime time to get started working on it again. I'm gonna try to make Reagent Restocker my weekend project from now on, and I'm setting the following goals for myself: Relearn the...

Apologies for not getting much done. There's some mixed news as far as the future of Reagent Restocker goes: On one hand - I'm actually working for Zygor Guides! Working on Lua full time now. Which means I'm learning a lot, and that could potentially help out Reagent Restocker. There's a few things I'd like to change going forwar...

Re: Keep BoE / soulbound items options inactive
Posted By: CobraA1
Check out version 8.0 :). The 'keep BoE/soubound items' options are inactive/greyed out in options. I would gladly use RR for auto getting rid of unusable stuff if only I could restrict it to soulbound items. Any BOE I could use on my alts. Also, account bound items (from rares or archy) - I wonder if they would get vendored as well...

I'll take another look today - but checking for BoE/Soulbound items is not so straightforward - there's no API from Blizzard to do so. I actually have to read in the tooltip and look for the word "soulbound."

Reagent Restocker 3.0 is released! I've pushed it to Curse and WoW Interface. This contains all of the bug fixes necessary for playing on the Mists of Pandaria beta, and should be ready for the 5.0.4 patch tomorrow (today, in some time zones?). The biggest change is a new window that pops up with the vendor. It's pretty...

First beta of the next version of Reagent Restocker has been released. There's a lot of work to do yet, but I've fixed some of the showstopper bugs in Mists of Pandaria, and I've begun work on the new UI for shopkeepers that will replace the little "+" symbols that are in 2.6. Note that Reagent Resocker betas are only available...

Authors have been given their beta keys! I'll be doing my best to get back into coding Reagent Restocker again. Even if there's no major compatibility changes that need to be made, I'm starting to work on a new feature that will really help the overall usability of RR :).

After a lot of messing around with buying/repairing based on vendor discount, I realized all of my tweaking was for naught. Truth be known, all it really does is decide whether to buy or not depending on your reputation with the vendor. That's all it really does. All of the calculations were unnecessary. So I've thrown everything ou...

Humm, I'll have to investigate. The issue likely comes from my attempt to deal with the new guild perk at level 24 :/. Problem is, my own guild isn't level 24 yet, so there's no way for me to test it.

CurseForge, and the most recent version is 2.6.5 there, which should have most of the bugs fixed. If things go well, I'll likely release a final bug fix and release the fixes to WoW Interface.

Alas, there are a lot of bugs right now in the code I'm working on. It just didn't pan out as expected . There are weird things happening with the code right now, and some very unexpected behavior with some of Blizzard's API calls. I may be in for a partial rewrite of some of the lower level code in my new system.

Well, there's not really a way to do that automatically with the API - I will actually need to keep a table of available waters, which means I'll have to go around finding out what all of them are. So it'll require a fair amount of research and coding. But - it should be possible, at least theoretically. I may look into it later. R...

Technically, your argument is very sound. From the perspective of users who love to use addons like BrokerCPU to snoop on memory usage, however, they love to complain about memory usage even though it may be causing zilch actual performance issues and is harmless and will be collected eventually. So, to make them happy, I colle...

Posted By: CobraA1
Reagent Restocker uses Blizzard's API to get information about items. Right now, it does not save any information about items other than the items that are already in the lists. That being said, if an item is already in one of the lists (ie, it uses the same ID number as an older item), the list is used before Blizzard's API, and...

Yes, as the previous poster mentioned below, an option to output to chat instead of that non-movable "receipt" frame would be nice; good to hear things are upcoming. Another option for the output: Sink-2.0. Thanks for the suggestion :). I'll take a look at Sink. The change to the receipts was an experiment of sorts, and can easily...

If I can get the info on both the old and new poisons, perhaps I could make it aware of the changes. I don't play a rogue, sorry.
