where it says set settings per character? because it is unticked and when I do tick and accept it reverts back to the original settings?
Correct. If it is unchecked all is fine and all your settings will be used on you alts. If you check the button all settings on your character are only for this specific character.

For You and also for ShamJackson the information. I have had contact with the programmer last days. He told my, that he have no time to update the UI for BfA, as result of haevy bussines. I have also send message to Rav99, but got no Answer. I will post here if I get new informations.

The Combat Text is not part of Duffed UI.
If it will not be visible, You can test this commands:
/console floatingCombatTextCombatDamage 1
/console floatingCombatTextCombatHealing 1
Or You can Use an AddOn like xCT+ for more options....

Two Problems since last patch (Think they have both the same reason).
1.) Altoholic Skin cause an error (Azilroka will be informed for this error).

I think for objectivtracker.lua it give no variable to set fontsize. This modul use standard font from Blizzard and fontsize is coded directly in the modul.

den Fehler wird man wohl nur mitbekommen wenn Bugsack auch läuft, die Installation selbst läuft ja durch.
Chatcopy funktioniert bei ElvUI auch nicht ganz sauber, da ist zwar der Chat im Fenster drin, aber auch reichlich Zeilen wo nur "Nil" steht. Wer weiß was Blizzard da wieder heimlich geändert hat.
Habe kein Ordenshal...
