 Strafe issues

Love the UI but my strafe left/right (bound to my mouse 4 & 5 side buttons) ability ceases to function every time I use this UI. I have changed to other UI's with no issue but I just don't like them as much as I love this one. Any suggestions as to how I can fix this issue? :(
