underlining, italics, etc.

Thanks for the awesome addon Cladhaire :) Currently, when a comment uses an underline, italics, bold, or whatever, the brackets that are used when writing post post appear. like so and so, etc. Would it be possible to make it so lightheaded understands what these mean, and then underlines, italicizes, etc.? Thanks!
