Using Curse Updater with LUI?

Hi, Is there any of the addons that in the 2.1 which are modified vs the released code base? And therefore should be ignored in updaters like Curse etc? I started playing with LUI2.0 a few days ago on my mage and I'm finding it very much to my likeing. But I do like to keep my addons up to date aswell :) br -ie-

This addon and the EULA?

As it does seem to automatically scan for an npc, is this "legal" in regards to the EULA, and the blizzard stands on automated addons? Just curious as I see some of our hunters are using it to catch the rare pet from SB.
