 Scrolling battle text not working

I just reinstalled wow and installed my favorite ui! Unfort, i have no battle text at all. I reset the profile under the msbt options, and the text started working, but I can't get it to work with stock mayron settings (reinstall UI and it stops working again). Anyone know what might be going on?
