 The Quake sounds for PvP?

Feel really stupid asking this, know I'm missing something. In BC I know SCT had (I believe it is Quake anyway) sounds when you killed an enemy in PvP. For whatever reason they seem to have been switched off. Where they removed or am I just being really dull?
