configure problems

for some odd reason I am not able to even attempt to configure mbi. I go to my interface window and find mbi and click on it, and then click on the mbi configure button which causes that screen to go blank and have no options to set it up at all. I have seen it working in 5.0.4 so idk why this will not work. Any help is much apprecia...
