The right click issue is a Grid issue after all. There's a ticket acknowledging it on Grid's WowAce site, and the author is investigating it. Super sorry if you were poring over your code looking for a bug :( . I thought from the way it was temporarily fixed by playing with Clique settings, it was a Clique issue.

It's on the project page for Grid on WowAce, the direct link to the current(as of 10/20) beta with the fix is HERE. I can click on the icon with a Clique keybinding successfully with this version(I had to very carefully click around icons with the previous version of Grid). It definitely looks like it was a Grid issue, not a Clique...

The icons blocking mouse clicks in Grid is a known issue, and addressed in the newest beta of Grid. I'm having a different issue involving Grid and Clique. On every log in, I am unable to use my right mouse button bound heal on Grid frames, though it still works on default Blizzard user frames. Other keybinds in Clique still wor...
