 Account sharing error about enabling sharing

When trying to use account sharing I am currently just getting an error that "Both parties must enable account sharing before using this feature (see options)".
But I have checked options on both/all characters, and sharing is enabled, the other char is set to auto accept, and what to share has all selected.
