I asked him this question on the Tukui forum and his respone was to turn off the option Pixel Perfect.
You'll get thicker lines around the elements, but not quite as the example picture. All in all an improvement since it looks a lot better in my opinion.

Hello and first of all id like to say thanks for making the best UI ever.
quick question my ui looks nothing like yours. do you have a wtf file uploaded somewhere so i can have a UI that looks exactly like default theme picture 1/10 ?
the fonts look different the colouring... everything u have done is perfect.
