in LUI v1.0 there also was a clean mode when not being grouped and there also was a auto show/hide by leaving / entering groups but if you want to disable that feature you will have to delete some lines of code in AddOns/Interface/LUI/core.lua delete function checkPanels delete frame GroupCheck delete registered events of GroupC...
