Thanks Farmbuyer, I'll look into it. The error was caused by Blizzard's API not returning values for some spells like it should. I'll test out glyphs, but any extra info on how to reproduce is helpful, since it doesn't really seem to be a bug on my end (unless I'm technically misusing the API now, /shrug).

DoTimer is never far from my mind, but I certainly go through phases where I alternate working on it and not. However, I would never let DoTimer break to the patch! That'd be terrible.

I've been doing some hacking of this mod to have it play nicely with DBM's range checker and the putricide encounter, and I noticed something rather severe when I was doing my testing.
On line 555 of TidyPlatesCore.lua, you register UNIT_AURA, and have it set to call a method on every nameplate as well as schedule an update....

If you turn back on the default buffs ("Blizzard Buffs" PlayerAuras setting), do you see the auras there (and not in PlayerAuras)?
Is it permanent or intermittent? Does it occur with anything else?

If you did not delete the old folders before installing, then your silly "merge into the old folders" unzipper did not delete the old file. I suppose I forgot to dereference it in the xml file though, which is why...

Though to be honest, reverting is sometimes a bad choice. A bunch of my decisions in my changes lately have required that I rename some settings or change how I store them; reverting to an older version may cause problems.

Yeah, there's no timer duplication from the specific modules: if DoTimer decides to make a timer, only one timer onscreen is going to be created. 4.3.3 allows you to setup PlayerAuras for your pet and target and focus though, so maybe that'll help.
What makes you say whitelist was removed? This comp i'm on doesn't have WoW on...

Maelynn, I just made a new profile and attempted to change the scaling of timers, and it worked fine... I'm not sure what your problem is. I checked 'simple mode' for my test too.
Lalia, does this happen all the time? and you do see the timer, but only briefly?
