After testing this in various ways, I had to disable it. It's a good idea, keep trying!
I just went through the same series of test on my wow client. I did find a problem with the count down timer. The count down trigger executes when the seconds hit 0 and not from the "seconds" time that you enabled it. Let say that you enabled a 1 minuted timer at 12:35:45.. well in 15 secs the clock will read 12:36:00 the alarm will go off. I will have that fixed in the next release thank you.

As far as the actual alarm timers, they are working as far I can test and see. When setting an alarm time, the alarm trigger looks at the local time only. Is there where the confusion is maybe?

Next release will have the option to set an alarm time for either local or server time and will have and have the fix to the count down timer. Thank you for the feedback.

I have Ace3 installed. When I unzip this file it puts the alarm clock files loose in the Addons directory. It does not work that way. I have even tried putting them in an AceAlarmClock directory, and it does not work that way either.

I use winrar to extact all my zipped content. When it does it creates a folder for me. I can't remember how the default window zip tool works. So I rezipped addon so that it creates an additional folder that the files will be extracted into.

Wow.. I dont consider using the name "Ace" as a badge, place of honor or even an achievment. Anyone can easily write addons for the ace framework. So I don't see how you can convict me for thinking that I used the word "Ace" as a badge. (Sometimes I think some people have way to much time on their hands)

I never meant to offend the "Ace" developer community and I am very sorry that it is upsetting to you. Maybe someday you will be able to forgive me on such a silly mistake. I was merely wanting to be nice to the community and share this addon.

To comply, I have renamed the addon (on this website) to "Alarm Clock". At some point when I have more time, I will rename the addon in the actual code.

Cheers!

Care to explain why the "Ace" in the name. Alarm Clock would have been just fine. According to your description, this AddOn uses the Ace3 framework, however the name "Ace" is not a badge to be worn. The Ace devs strongly discourage the use of "Ace" in AddOn names.
