With incoming Health Bar during a heal (the darker bar idicates the estimated health after the heal
GridStatusIncomingHealth
Please note: Since revision 60889 of Grid the functionality of this addon has been merged into the base of grid. So normally you won't need this addon anymore except you wan't to explicitly use IncomingHealsLib instead of LibHealComm for heal communication.
Otherwise I whould recommend to remove this addon and just use the new Grid version.
Description:
This is a small addon for Grid which visualizes the Values from Incoming Heals as a little bar below the normal health bar representing the life the unit would have if all currently incoming heals come through.
How to activate:
Normaly it should be activated initially but if not:
Go to the grid configuration. Go to Frames->FadedBar, activate the Incoming Health status. Done.
How to change the intensity of the faded bar:
Go to the grid configuration. Go to Frames->Advanced, change the slider next to Fadedbar intensity"
Known problems: "Find one bug, get another one for free!"
Thanks to:
- Sayclub from WoW-Ace for korean translation
Version r15:
- switch from own FadedBar to new grids HealingBar
- got confused with versions...switched to revisions
Version 0.9:
- merged GridExtraBar and GridStatusIncomingHealth and renamed it to FadedBar -> GridExtraBar isn't an own addon anymore
- changed status indicator name from "IH:Health" to "Incoming health"
Version 0.8b:
- same as version 0.8, onlywithout the ".svn"-directory which accidentally made it into the zip of version 0.8
Version 0.8:
- incoming hot ticks are included now to the IncomingHealth value
- fixed the dark bar if not inverted colors-bug
- removed a missed debug message
Version 0.7:
- hopefully fixed the wrong orientation bug
- fixed a bug with not inverted bar colors
- korean translation by Sayclub from WoW-Ace (thanks!)
Version 0.6:
- made it work in PVP
Version 0.5:
- made some nasty code to "not so nasty"- code
- made the ExtraBar intensity modifiable (Grid->frames->advanced->ExtraBar intensity)
- the extrabar now has the same texture as the healthbar
Version 0.4:
- replaced some stupid code with less stupid code
- hopefully removed the "tons of errors"-bug xD
Version 0.3:
- made it compatible to GridManaBars
Version 0.2:
- a bunch of bug fixes (lacy healthbar, error when healing npc, etc.)
- removed IncomingHeals Dependency (depends still optional to it)
Originally posted by Seajewel I love Grid, but it's not very new-user-friendly, unfortunately. I've spent hours (yes, i know I'm a newb!) figuring things out. I like it enough to prefer it over x-perl and pitbull.. the interface is just prettier, and there is a lot of good functionality, somewhat hidden in here. I'd love to see GridStatusIncomingHealth and other such fairly essential healing addons added to the main Grid download package, but most of all, I would really like to see a little popup next to each status item when you mouse over it (unit health, Incoming heals, health deficit, what have you) to indicate whether this would be most fitting in a text line, on the health bar, as an icon, on the healingbar, etc. For instance.. I still don't know where "incoming health" fits. Incoming heals seems to do everything incoming health does (i'm talking about the actual status, not the two different addons). Incoming heals listed in the text will tell you the +109 or whatever amount of hp coming in from a heal. Incoming heals listed in the HealingBar will fade the portion that will be healed. So will incoming health.. but then what does incoming health do? It probably does do something, but I can't figure it out.
Just doing that would really really cutdown on a new user's learning curve, imo.. as it is, it took so many hours of experimentation for me to get things working right and the way i want them to..
But, thank you for the mod. I love it and would hate to be without it!
As said by the bold orange Text at the top of the addon description: The functionality of this addon already IS moved to the core of Base-Grid. So you don't need this addon anymore.

Originally posted by Mycroft77 Orientation problem is fixed for me. I am getting a "error no cur or max" in the chat log when disconnected people log back into the game however.
Thanks for orientation bugfix verification.
The "error no cur or max" is just a debug message I forgot to remove, normally it shouldn't cause any other problems except the message itself. Thanks for the hint.
Originally posted by Mycroft77 Sorry about the less than detailed description, the errors I was getting were numerous but at the time I wasn't able to save them. Anyway, they're gone now thanks for the update.
One problem I am seeing now is that the incoming heals are horizontal while my health bars are vertical... this is causing some confusing issues so I had to disable it again. Is there a setting I'm missing for orientation?
That should not happen (so much things should not happen...). I'll have a look at it. At first you can try to switch the orientation of your healthbar twice, normally the extra bar should recognize it and adapt its orientation. If that does not work I'll try to fix it at the next patch (in fact I will try to fix it even if it works).
Originally posted by Julith Please try the new Version. If the errors still occure with that Version I will need some more information (the error message and which other grid-addons you are using)
