Reshade with Sweetfx for Windows 7/8/10 64&32bit & WOW 64&32 bit/dx 11  Popular! (More than 5000 hits)

Version: 1.0
by: ikomiko [More]

For screen comparison:
https://sfx.thelazy.net/games/preset/4873/

After nearly 2 years iam updating this Page. The newest version of Sweetfx is now a part of Reshade. It works now flawlessly with every WOW client on every Windows OS (7,8,10). It has only extra 4-5 % gpu usage when its activated. Iam using a preset made by the user chris2012. I modified it a little bit to keep as the original wow look as much as possible.

Look at the Screens and decide by youreself.

For more presets look here:

https://sfx.thelazy.net/games/preset/4873/

HOW to install:

- Just put all the files into youre "World of Warcraft" folder.
- Start the Reshadesetup.exe and choose youre between wow or wow-64.exe depends if you are playing on 32 bit or 64 bit.
- If reshade doesnt work just rename the Reshade32.dll or Reshade64.dll to dxgi.dll
- Ingame you can switch between Reshade and normalmode by "pressing the scroll lock key".
- Iam using the following shader preset: https://sfx.thelazy.net/games/preset/4873/ you can also use youre own. Just replace or edit the SweetFX_settings.txt. You don't need to to restart the game, just press the pause key for reloading the shader.

For best qualitiy:
Just deactivite the fullboom effect in WOW. Write followin into the Chat ingame /console ffxglow 0

Knowing Issue:
You need to Install on Windows 8/8.1 and Windows 10 directx9 or WOW is going to crash.

I tested it and liked it but I after a few minutes I noticed some massive Bubbles on the Screen which points to a problem with the lensflare effect I think. It became worse once I opened the inventory or character screen, making it impossible to enjoy the game.

On/off

Hello! it looks good, and I want to use it. but when I press ctrl+c it turns on/off. I use ctrl+c as a keybind so its very annoying. how can I custom on/off to the keybind I prefer? thanks

Found the same thing as below. Works at the character select screen, and also if you open the character window in-game. Any suggestions?

EDIT - It actually works whenever anything pops up, for example npc scan alert.

EDIT:

I am running into this same issue. Is there a fix for this?

I didn't come here with an agenda to prove you wrong, but I just wanted to clear up some misinformation in your description referring to standalone SweetFX:
Unfortunately there isn't a working Version for the WOW 64 Bit client with Direct X 11.
However, there is, and I've been using it for well over a year now.

This Package is for the 64 bit client.
Change youre client to 64 through launcher or start the Wow-64.exe.

What kind of .dll error do you have?
I am using the 64-bit version. It automatically chose that when I installed the game, because I have a 64 bit system.

The exact error is here:

A few moments after that error has been closed (I close it), the launcher starts. I have yet to click play to find out if it'll do anything.
MSVCR110.dll is the Microsoft Visual C++ Redistributable dll that is needed for projects built with Visual Studio 2011. The dll letters spell this out.
MS = Microsoft, V = Visual, C = C++, R = Redistributable
For Winroy to get started, this file is probably needed.
This error appears when you wish to run a software which require the Microsoft Visual C++ Redistributable 2012. The redistributable can easily be downloaded on the Microsoft website as x86 or x64 edition. Depending on the software you wish to install you need to install either the 32 bit or the 64 bit version. Refer the following link:
http://www.microsoft.com/en-us/downl...aspx?id=30679#

Installing both (32 bit and 64 bit) should fix the problem.

The program can't start because MSVCP110.dll is missing from your computer. Try reinstalling the program to fix this problem.

Drop Down Menus

It appears that there is an error when using drop down menus. Instead of the menu options, it looks like picture-in-picture. Tested with LUI and Bazooka drop downs. Just like the ElvUI error, disabling via scroll lock solves the problem.

Heh. I'm used to SweetFX & ENB for the likes of Skyrim, FNV, MassEffect, etc, but somehow never considered it for WoW... I see I'm going to have to set some tinkering-time aside now.
