Improved Blizzard UI is an attempt to improve the World of Warcraft interface by styling frames, implementing additional functionality and restructuring / hiding existing elements.

This has been customized to out of the box be how I personally like my UI set up however there is extensive configuration available in game by using the Escape -> Interface -> Addons menu. This interface is primarily tested at 2560x1400 but should largely work at any resolution.

BfA Update

Following the release of 8.0 a number of features have had to be removed or disabled. These are as follows.

Known Issues

If you get LUA errors related to FramesDB on first install please simply do a /reload.

Improved Blizzard UI is on Github and this is where all issues should be reported. New Feature requests are always welcome as are pull requests.

Localisation help is currently needed most. New Localisation templates can be submitted via Github pull requests. The template for these is available in localisation/template.lua.

Full rewrite
Apparently this has been printing PVEFrame open for months and months and I didn't notice. This is what happens when I unsubscribe after adding a new build.
Removed vscode folder
Made it easier to tweak action bar positon / scale.
Fixed the BG "Join Battle" button resetting to the left after every 2nd BG.
TOC bump and minor string changes.
Moved Target buffs above frame.
Nothing changed, decided to push a dev grid onto the public build as well as my own since it helps with tweaking.
Quest related crash to desktop hopefully fixed.

I have a pretty simple question (I think), is there a way to prevent the UI from reloading every. single. time. I save something in Interface, even if it's not IBUI-related? It's driving me insane. I make a lot of changes, even in battle at times, and having it require a reload makes things very difficult.

Yeah using SexyMap is definitely going to interfere with that in one way or another.
One must have SexyMap.

I just wanted to comment on this and I'll be able to link to it for future reference.

The micro menu is available under right clicking the Mini Map.

My issue with requests like this is that its adding additional code to the addon that I do not use which always leads to the inevitable where it breaks and I don't even notice it has. It's additional code that needs maintaining over the years.
Fair response and highlights my lack of knowledge in the coding world.

I'll see if I can get myself comfortable with right clicking the mini map though. Life is about compromising.

EDIT: Okay, gave this a go. I run 'SexyMap' and right clicking the Mini Map seems to just bring up the Interface menu, not the Micro Menu.

Correct. I'd personally prefer the ability to check a box and bring it back as I fancy it.

Love this addon but I have to say the inability to get my Micro Menu back will stop me from using it. Please create a checkbox for show/don't show. I'm too keen on using it to get rid of it. One suggestion to the unit frame position (atleast from a 1080p display) is to have them a little more seperated from the middle as the default position with the UI now actually covers some of the world quest stuff. Like with the tortollan memory game thing.
The target and player frames cover the bottom left and bottom right shells so it makes it harder (though not impossible) to see the symbols under those shells.


As stated with said in previous post tho, it can be fixed with the move anything addon

Many people are asking for the default position, or at least the ability to move them ourselves - is it too much to ask for?
I'm going to have to agree with him. Personally, I don't want ANYTHING in the middle of my screen, ever. I try to keep it as minimalistic as possible.

However, a workaround for now is MoveAnything. I wish I didn't have to use it because it's a weird addon, but it got the player/target out of my viewing space.

I installed the addon and everything was awesome, untill I found that there is no option to restore utility UI (the one that in BFA displays in the bottom right corner by default), there is no way to set tooltip delay (now mousing over an icon on the hot bar causes the tooltip to occlude cooldowns, skills etc.) and that disabling the "Style tooltip" option does change nothing (it still uses the hard to read font). Unfortunately, the first two make the addon unusable for me :<

i can't move the unit frames

i don't know why, but even after remove the lock position option, i can't move the player unit frame or the target unit frame, even the focus can't be moved.

Can confirm, I get massive errors until I install the Wasabi library separately.
