UNOFFICIAL UPDATE

While the Power Auras team is busy working on the newest version, I updated the old Power Auras 4 to work with MoP.

If you upgraded to Power Auras 5, it is recommended that you remove it and restore your old WTF folder configuration files for PowerAuras if possible. If you did not upgrade to Power Auras 5, everything should work as normal.

The GTFO Addon will work with both Power Auras 4 and Power Auras 5 and no update is necessary.

"/pa" - Brings up the configuration menu.
"/powa" - Brings up the configuration menu.

Sliders now can be adjusted with mousewheel up/down.

Test all button now wont hide the currently opened effect editor.
Clicking on the Edit button or right clicking on an aura now going to increase it's icons alpha properly.

Yeah i'm aware of both situation i removed the "+ -" buttons, because now you can do the same function with the mousewheel up/down, while your cursor is over the slider. Also in the next release i added an editbox for all sliders.

The "Own Texture" checkbutton is'nt got removed just relocated. You can find it here now:

I might give the text some more different color, to find it easier, or place it under the icon, or do both, i haven't decided yet.

So its not that anything was removed its just i didn't look carefully enough haha
I'm going to have to find my old mouse now, i use a powerball and no scroll wheel on it :*(
Even if your mouse has no wheel, you will be able to precisely enter the number for every slider with the editbox from the next version, as you can see on the screenshot too.

In the past I'm sure there was the option to scroll through the different textures by clicking an arrow at either side of the scroll bar (am i explaining that clearly enough? ) Is there any chance you can put that back in, with the amount of textures available now its getting difficult to click and move one by one through them

I'm not sure it's caused by Power Auras (patch days are always fckd up), can you try to test with only PA enabled?
Anyway i'm planning to do an update later tonight. But currently i need to update like 15 addons, and i'm only ready with 1 atm.

update

hey, the patch hit today and i'm laggin when i have auras running and when i open the menu the game quits slightly freezing while auras were running.

have you considered putting this on curse? its just alot easier to update with the curse client, also have you considered asking meorawr into letting you take over the officlal project?

This should work, i havn't changed anything related with this, try to make a new aura and set it up like this, and check if it's working with like that.

yeah, i just created a spell cooldown aura for shadow dance. brand new, it doesn't display an aura or recognize the actual ability/spell even after i use it and its cooldown is over.

only way i can get it to show is by check marking "invert" which obviously shouldn't be done. however, i would just guess that there is either a bug on the drop down list or whatever links to the new strata options. i would just check how "invert" works and reverse bug check it.
Try to make a new aura as "Action Usable" and just enter the spells name (But for that to work the spell needs to be on your acton bar, and not as a macro). I think thats what you want to create. Then optionally you can check "Use own Texture", and stuff.

Also when you move the spell into another action bar slot, you need to open and close "/powa", or "/reload" to save the new action bar slot number for the aura.
And when you pick a spell like that requires a target or any kinda resource rage/energy/mana, it wont show it untill it's actually useable.

i tried that and it works but the problem is thats the whole point of me using spell cooldown auras so i can put a whole group of cds in a tiny space. i'll show you what im talking about.

i have designed what i call a "speed ball" that has idk like 5 or so spell / ability cool downs that i know the color / shape that i have placed directly on the back of the char.

I think i fixed the "Spell Cooldown" now, the bug what caused the whole problem was a misplaced "," mark.
Try it with 4.23.21, and tell me if it's working now properly or not. (Hard to test with no wow.)
Also now the invert button is gonna work porperly, with invert it will only show the aura when the spell is on cooldown.

Wowinterface usually fast with checking addons, so you should be able to download it soon.
