Clean Icons - Crisp  Popular! (More than 5000 hits)
Version: 5.4.7 Build (18019)
by: suicidalkatt [More]
Re-Uploaded this version due to issues with various icons, please let me know if you have any issues!!

I got tired of seeing old pre-BC styled icons mixed with BC and WoTLK icons so I decided to batch process all the icons into a clean format.

...icons have been altered.

This may seem like a large filesize, however this does not use any cpu usage or additional memory usage than simply running without it.

This also extends to any addon that uses the default game icons such as Power Auras Classic.

I'm not familiar with TMW's code but if they're offering Masque support I'd highly suggest using the Clean Icons: Masque theme.

The default action bars of the game have an overlay texture, using an addon like Aurora will remove that overlay.

Once this package is installed, every icon regardless of what's using it will be using the crisp icons.

Some addons may clip the edge off and you won't get the border of the icons. Using the Masque: Clean Icons skin will give you that edge back (on addons that support Masque).

This masque skin simply allows you to utilize the clean icons with supported addons.

There is no way to simply swap skins / icons. The next best thing would to have multiple Icons folder with a slight rename (ie 1Icons, 2Icons) and whichever folder you want active named simply Icons.

If you can link me the spell names / links (wowhead.com etc) that would be helpful. I'm currently not involved with much in-game.
Apologies, it would appear it's an issue with TukUI based UI (ElvUI, etc.) and not with the icon package.

The icons that should be there however are the following if you still want them:

Make Noodle Soup - http://www.wowhead.com/spell=146421
Make Dragon's Nest Noodle Soup - http://www.wowhead.com/spell=146422
Make Pandaren Treasures Noodle Soup - http://www.wowhead.com/spell=146423
Clear Customers - http://www.wowhead.com/spell=146519

Yes they do, it's actually suggested somewhere on the ElvUI website.

I had the same experience at first. The icons still all had the chiselled borders and visible black background in the corners. I use an add-on (Dominos) for all my action bars, so I figured I had to use Masque and "Masque: Clean Icons" (set to "Square") to get Clean Icons to look as anticipated.
(On a side note, I think "Clean Icons - Thin" looks cleaner than "Clean Icons - Crisp" overall.)

Neither of them works with all add-ons because some add-ons use the original icons/buttons layout (shape and background) despite anything else, which is why some add-ons can only be forced to take full benefit of the replacement icons by overriding the procedure call by another add-on, like Masque, and they also have to support that one specifically (which most action bars add-ons do anyway - but in case they don't, the authors of those add-ons, for bars or whatever, are the ones to bother with it).
As long as an add-on basically reuses the default action buttons, Masque should be able to modify their shape and background, e.g. by making them plain square so that Clean Icons are able to have an actual noticeable effect.

(Basically, if all you want is to remove the border and background of icons/buttons, you don't even need one of the Clean Icons packs, as Masque is able to do that by itself, but the Clean Icons are a bit more adapted and zoomed to fit square shaped buttons than the original icons.)

These four remain broken in the latest release. I didn't see any others.
For some reason my brain though this was only on the Clean Icon - Original package.

Hope there's not another issue with my photoshop scripts.

Edit: By all means download just the patch version to fix your issue.
