SanUI  Popular! (More than 5000 hits)

Version: 7.0.3.0
by: Pyrates [More]

Development for Legion has started. Find it on github.

This is an interface for the raiding druid, integrating all specs. Works for other classes, though a bit more configuration is neccessary (I'll help). It supposedly only works if your monitors resolution is at least 1280 x 1024 by virtue of Tukui. Suggestions and criticism welcome

See my Author Portal for some mods for SanUI (mostly about the action bars by now).

After your first login

  • The installation procedure of Tukui will start. Just klick "Ok" (or whatever's there for you) 4 times and let it reload your UI.
  • After that, you're asked if you want to import the WeakAuras of SanUI. It's save to say yes here. A reload will follow (Note: This is non-functional as of 7.0.3.0. Will be updated for Legion).
  • Type "/tukui move" to move different aspects of the UI.
  • Configuration of Tukui (particularly the UI-Scale) can be done via typing "/tukui config"
  • Besides the minimap is a box with an 'a'. Click it, a menu will appear. You can switch Modes there. Access to different addon configurations can be configured in SanUI/profiles.lua.

More on Usage
  • SimpleAuraFilter let's you reclaim your buff area by filtering. Simply shift-rightclick any buff you don't want to see anymore. It will be cancelled in this process, but never again show up, even if you have it. Note that there different profiles for Healer, Chicken, Bear and Cat mode, which have to be configured separately (just activate the right mode and go nuts shift-rightclicking).
  • Click stuff. There are a lot of menus, go find them (special hint: middle and right mouseclick on the minimap).

Configuration

About Config\profiles.lua: Its purpose is to support user-made modes. A mode is a state of the UI consisting of several profiles for different addons or parts of the UI. It's commented well, so read there (and I'll help via forums). Important: If you're not a druid, you probably want to edit this. If you need help, let me know though the forum.

FAQ
  • Q: Is this a complete interface for a raider?
  • --> A: Probably not. You might at least want a boss mod, clique, and bugsack/buggrabber. Maybe a Damage Meter (I use Details).
  • Q: You've skinned CoolLine. Will there be problems with AddOnSkins Tukui?
  • --> A: No. I did test, and nothing bad happens. You might want to disable the CoolLine and Skada skins of AddOnSkins Tukui, otherwise those will be skinned twice. That's not a real problem though, so if you like it that way, keep them enabled.
  • Q: I updated, but where are the new WeakAuras displays the changelog mentions?
  • --> A: You need to type "/tukui addweakauras" (no quotation marks) ingame to import the new ones.

Oh that's the garrison ability button. You can get rid of it by draging it to an action bar.

None, as far as I know, my minimap still shows when I enter combat. Do you have any other addons installed?

Nice. If you happen to drop by anytime again, I'd be interested if the icons still look ok if people are low on health, but have a shield on them. But that's low priority, role isn't important in that case anyways I guess

Re: Re: how do i show the roles of each player?

I'm not gonna add it, but you can easily do it yourself. Add the following to SanUI/Modules/Unitframes/raidframes.lua, after line 730 but before line 732 (line 732 reads "return self" only):

Lua Code:
  1. -- Position and size
  2. local LFDRole = self.Health:CreateTexture(nil, "OVERLAY")
  3. LFDRole:Size(10)
  4. LFDRole:Point("BOTTOM", self)
  5.
  6. -- Register it with oUF
  7. self.LFDRole = LFDRole

Is still working ? or the position has changed ?

Hey Zionk, nice you like it

That's not supported, sorry. If you want to fiddle I can give you hints, but it's not going to be straightforward.

2. The Skada bar texture doesn't change after I select the new bar texture. Even after I reload the UI.
Yeah, it's hardcoded in the skin. Try removing line 53 of Modules\AddonMods\skadaskin.lua, which reads

Lua Code:
  1. skada:SetTexture(S.GetTexture(C["UnitFrames"].HealthTexture))

3. How can I set the raid frame texture same as Tukui. More specially, I set the Tukui colour as black, I would like to set the raid frame texture same as the Tukui.
You really sure you want that? I mean, it would just be a black status bar on a black background... You can find lines 120 and 126 of Modules\Unitframes\raidframes.lua and replace them by

Lua Code:
  1. self.Health:SetStatusBarColor(0,0,0)

4. Another issue is, when I set my current target as "Set Focus", the UI ask me to disable oUF_hank. How you set focus?

That's just a general restriction for unitframes that are not the standard frames, sorry. You can use "/focus" to set the focus, maybe make a macro for it.

Some customisation

Hi,

Really love your UI. I have couple questions would like to ask:

1. How can I set the gridhealth bar as horizontal instead of vertical?

2. The Skada bar texture doesn't change after I select the new bar texture. Even after I reload the UI.

3. How can I set the raid frame texture same as Tukui. More specially, I set the Tukui colour as black, I would like to set the raid frame texture same as the Tukui.

4. Another issue is, when I set my current target as "Set Focus", the UI ask me to disable oUF_hank. How you set focus?

I'm sorry the questions might be a little bit more. I never modified the .lua file before, if you could by any chance give me a hand here, I will be really appreciate!

Really nice work and I love your UI design!

Regards,
Zionk

Good job!
Thanks It is clickable though, even in combat (I did just try to make sure). There's also a target of target of target (y'know, to see "who is that boss targeting that is just tanked by the guy I'm healing"), which is clickable as well.
