DBM-Sarth-ShadowFissureWarn

OVERVIEW
DBM-Sarth-ShadowFissureWarn gives you visual and audio warning when a shadow fissure (a.k.a. void zone) is cast by any of the drakes in The Obsidian Sanctum. This is mainly helpful in Sarth +drakes fights when there's a ton of visual spam everywhere and it's hard to see the ground. It's especially easy to get tunnel vision as a healer watching your raid frames, and if you do that for a few seconds and end up standing in a shadow fissure you may wipe the raid. This DBM mod should help prevent that.

REQUIREMENTS
You must have the latest Deadly Boss Mods addon installed.

INSTALLATION
To install DBM-Sarth-ShadowFissureWarn simply move or copy the DBM-Sarth-ShadowFissureWarn folder into your World of Warcraft/Interface/AddOns folder.

SETTINGS
You can set a few options by typing /dbm, selecting DBM-Sarth-ShadowFissureWarn, loading the addon, and clicking around. This lets you turn off any of the audio, warning text, or timer bars for any of the drakes.

My question is Can you Modify this addon to work with Kel Thuzad too? I have the same difficulty there. If you can you'd be my new hero

That's great. DBM-ChamberOfAspects is the official one that comes with DBM proper right? If so that's great, then I don't have to maintain it. =)

Please feel free to clean up my code and make it better if you want. I just threw it together as fast as I could to get something working so it's probably not the cleanest way to do things. In fact I just noticed some bugs. In Shadron.lua it should be self:SendSync("Shadron_ShadowFissureAlarm"), and in Vesperon.lua it should be self:SendSync("Vesperon_ShadowFissureAlarm"). Both are currently set at self:SendSync("Tenebron_ShadowFissureAlarm"). Damn copy-paste. =)

morrigahn A Kobold Labourer Forum posts: 0 File comments: 30 Uploads: 2	Since it's hard to test a mod like this (you can only do so many OS raids a week) there may be a few minor glitches, but I just did a 10 man OS run with one drake up and it does what it's supposed to; give you an obnoxious warning so you know a shadow fissure/void zone has popped up.
