The LDB display and tooltip

Golden Ticket

Golden Ticket is an LDB data provider that takes over the functionality of the GM ticket status frame. It will hide the default frame and show the data contained in it in your LDB display of choice.

If you do not have an LDB display, this addon is also usable via an optional minimap button.

To access the configuration use one of the following methods:

Right click the minimap button or LDB display.
Type /goldenticket in the text input window.
Open Blizzard Interface Options, click AddOns and select Golden Ticket from the list.

Changes in r13:

Fixed for 3.1 and a .toc version bump.

Changes in r11:

Now works with Broker2FuBar.
Added several missing libraries.
Korean localization.

Changes in r8:

Hopefully fixed issues with settings not persisting.
French localization.

Note to SexyMap users: Depending on how you configured SexyMap you might have to use its configuration to disable the minimap button. Go to the SexyMap configuration, choose the Button sub-section, click the Addon Buttons tab and find LibDBIcon10_Golden Ticket and check the Never box.

It was never stated that middle click would allow a person to abandon a ticket. Not on the addon page nor on the tooltip in game (even the screenshot with the tooltip on the addon page doesn't show it). Just pointing it out in case you are planning to update the addon or the page including the middle click feature.

I can edit and save what was previously written but there is absolutley no intuitive way to abandon the ticket, once created using this mod. It also prevents you from deleting all the text to try and save a blank box in order to get rid of it that way. Once you create something with this mod, you are stuck with it until a GM comes around. Edit: Log out, disable the mod, log back in, and use the default Blizzard ticket interface to abandon the ticket. Last edited by Iwa Washi : 09-21-2009 at 02:32 PM.

I get this error when left-clicking on the plugin while I have an open ticket:

Left-clicking on the plugin without an open ticket opens the "Talk to a GM" window (at least, it does for me).

I can't see how this would be possible. Saved settings are entirely separate. Maybe Fortress will cache values and such though, not sure.

It should work now. I was missing the mandatory "type" field in my datablock definition which caused B2FB to discard it (other displayers, such as Button Bin, are less picky about that field it would seem).
