I agree, and on a side note, anchoring directly to the cursor can be annoying, an in some cases distracting or a detriment to your game play.

Well to be fair, it was my first step into the World of Addons. That being said, I am working on more complex addons (namely a simple unit replacement mod) and, once I have a better understanding of the WoW API and Lua language, I plan on making more creative and exciting mods.

Such a small file need not have superior compression, ZIP is just fine and compatible across the board for all users without third party applications. Please consider this for your next update.

Thanks for the AddOn! I've wanted a simple way to just get the tool tip to my mouse-pointer awhile but haven't got the skills to figure out how.

Yes, I agree that every has the right to expose his/her ideas. I have nothing against this addon. I just don't understand why sometimes authors, instead of trying to be creative, do something identical to other addon/addons that already exist... Makes me sad...
I'm sorry if I was a bit rude in my last post, but what I wanted to say was: be creative!

No addon is necessary. I took a look at a few other tooltip addons, but I wanted to make my own so I could maintain the most simplistic approach to cursor anchored tooltips.

As Marthisdil said, there's "nothing forcing you to use it...and not use something else. There's alternative options for almost every other mod out there."

Is your comment really necessary? Perhaps this addon author wanted to write something simple, that worked for him, and wanted to share it.

Is this addon really necessary? There are already other addons that do the same.
