Credits:
Sauerkraut- For the original oUF_Karma.
Zork for oUF_Simple that I used as a framework for my layout
Drakull, Neverg, and Monolit. Most of the code and inspiration came from their layouts.

Improvements and layout changes may occur in the upcoming versions. Questions or comments please feel free to leave a message I check back frequently. Have an issue that you can't figure out I can be found playing Miamonkey on US-Sargeras.

ERRORS/BUG REPORTS:
1. Make sure you have the latest version of oUF_Karma installed. This page will always have the latest version. DO NOT DOWNLOAD IT ANYWHERE ELSE! I do not upload anywhere but WoWInterface.
2. Make sure you are using the latest version of oUF Core. Found here. You no longer need the outdated version.
3. Post or message me full errors if possible. Even better if you know whats messing up and can point me in the right direction. If you can't that is totally ok.
4. Be patient. I have alot going on besides wow. I love this layout and I want to keep it going. It will be updated. There is nothing game breaking in the errors anymore. Its updated for current wow. There might still be a few bugs to iron out however.

FEATURE REQUESTS:
1. What it is you want/need. - I do not mind adding things. But again it will be on my time frame.
2. Give me a brief outline of what you want and when it should be available. If you can't articulate what you want I can't make it happen

In testing:
Full update to current oUF & fully embedded support modules: currently in live raid testing along with color options. ETA undefined but it is coming.
Horizontal Party frames for Raids - optional
OOC Fading - playing with animation system to make this look a little bit more nifty. It may never release animated fading but who knows.
Color options: currently in live testing while I work out bugs. This will come with /slash command to set values either RGB or as just colors (green, red, purple etc...).

Bug with 7.1.5

FYI, an LUA error is causing all of oUF to not appear.

oUF_Karma\castbar.lua:12: table index is nil
oUF_Karma\castbar.lua:20: table index is nil

I wound up removing the Drain Life and Mind Sear lines from the top of castbar.lua and now it works. I've not played my lock or priest yet this expac so I assume there was spell changes or removals that caused it.

Thanks

Can anyone help me figure out how I enable raid debuff icons on the raid frames with this latest version ?

I think I have the plugin enabled correctly in cfg.lua
Code:
cfg.showRaidDebuffs = true
I have added the debuff(s) I wanted to see into the bottom of the list in lib.lua as used to work in previous expansions e.g.
Code:
-- Emerald Nightmare
-- Nythendra
["Infested"] = 12,
["Rot"] = 12,
["Volatile Rot"] = 12,
I have also checked we are calling the library in the raid frame setup in core.lua
Code:
lib.debuffHighlight(self)
lib.raidDebuffs(self)
however I still get nothing appear - I notice that in RaidDebuffs.lua there seems to be a lot of new filtering stuff (I play a mage if that is relevant) - however I wish to see ALL debuffs on the raid, as I am a raid leader and I want to quickly check stacks on encounters like nythendra and cenarius.

You have a castbar.lua in oUF_Karma and one inside the \Elements subfolder. I wanted to move positions and alter the size a bit to my liking. Figured I should ask before messing with the two files which look kinda similar. What is the right one to modify?

I didn't test this but it should be as simple as changing the tag at line 202 in the lib.lua file
Current:
Lua Code:
  1. if f.mystyle == "player" then
  2.     f:Tag(hpval, "[karma:color][karma:hp]")
  3.     else
Change to:
Lua Code:
  1. if f.mystyle == "player" then
  2.     f:Tag(hpval, "[karma:color][karma:perhp]")
  3.     else

Try that and let me know.

Yes it involves changing the tag for the HP. I'll have a look when I get home and try to tell you exactly where it is.

Hey Sauerkraut, I found out an error.
On a Brewmaster Monk there's still a Chi Bar shown. But BM Monks don't have Chi anymore, as well as Mistweavers. Are you able to fix it or can tell me at least how to hide Chi for Monks in general? I use another chibar anyway

cheers

So I just fixed it. It really was the eclipse-stuff in some .lua-data.

I deleted the following:

-lib.lua
--> line 749 - 796
Code:
-- Eclipse Bar function
local eclipseBarBuff = function(self, unit)
	if self.hasSolarEclipse then
		self.eBarBG:SetBackdropBorderColor(1,1,.5,.7)
	elseif self.hasLunarEclipse then
		self.eBarBG:SetBackdropBorderColor(.2,.2,1,.7)
	else
		self.eBarBG:SetBackdropBorderColor(0,0,0,1)
	end
end

lib.addEclipseBar = function(self)
	if playerClass ~= "DRUID" then return end

	local eclipseBar = CreateFrame('Frame', nil, self)
	eclipseBar:SetPoint('BOTTOMLEFT', self.Health, 'TOPLEFT', 0, 8)
	eclipseBar:SetHeight(4)
	eclipseBar:SetWidth(self.Health:GetWidth())
	eclipseBar:SetFrameLevel(4)
	local h = CreateFrame("Frame", nil, eclipseBar)
	h:SetPoint("TOPLEFT",-5,5)
	h:SetPoint("BOTTOMRIGHT",5,-5)
	lib.gen_backdrop(h)
	eclipseBar.eBarBG = h

	local lunarBar = CreateFrame('StatusBar', nil, eclipseBar)
	lunarBar:SetPoint('LEFT', eclipseBar, 'LEFT', 0, 0)
	lunarBar:SetSize(eclipseBar:GetWidth(), eclipseBar:GetHeight())
	lunarBar:SetStatusBarTexture(cfg.statusbar_texture)
	lunarBar:SetStatusBarColor(0, .1, .7)
	lunarBar:SetFrameLevel(5)

	local solarBar = CreateFrame('StatusBar', nil, eclipseBar)
	solarBar:SetPoint('LEFT', lunarBar:GetStatusBarTexture(), 'RIGHT', 0, 0)
	solarBar:SetSize(eclipseBar:GetWidth(), eclipseBar:GetHeight())
	solarBar:SetStatusBarTexture(cfg.statusbar_texture)
	solarBar:SetStatusBarColor(1,1,.13)
	solarBar:SetFrameLevel(5)

    local EBText = lib.gen_fontstring(solarBar, cfg.font, 10, "OUTLINE")
	EBText:SetPoint('CENTER', eclipseBar, 'CENTER', 0, 0)
	self:Tag(EBText, '[pereclipse]')

	eclipseBar.SolarBar = solarBar
	eclipseBar.LunarBar = lunarBar
	self.EclipseBar = eclipseBar
	self.EclipseBar.PostUnitAura = eclipseBarBuff
end
-core.lua
--> line 87
Code:
if cfg.showEclipsebar then lib.addEclipseBar(self) end
-cfg.lua
--> line 66
Code:
cfg.showEclipsebar = true -- show druid's Eclipse bar
There is just one last little thing I'd like to ask.

In the last weeks I used ouF_lumen and I really like the way they handle your and the target's castbars. Some way to simply change yours to match those?

They have the enemy castbar bigger and in the upper half of the screen in the middle, while your own is bigger and on the lower half of the screen, right above your actionbars.

Just askin' There's always room to improve but I failed editing your castbar to unlock it from the Unitframes.

~Sincerely
