VisualThemes  Popular! (More than 5000 hits)

Version: 56491
by: Kameril [More]

It basically brings Windows Vista's Aero theme or OSX to WoW's default UI elements by adding a transitional animation between frame states.

Currently VisualThemes supports a fading and scale theme. The theme allows either to be toggled and scaling to be adjusted.

A short fraps:
Auction House and misc frames

For more information see:
VisualThemes wiki page

Also supports:
OneBag
Dewdrop
Baggins
AdvancedTradeSkillWindow
Skillet
TBag
Bagnon
SetWrangler
eePanels2

Changes:
Added support for eePanels2

Hi if anyone else should have the same problem as jmcgrath a solution to the problem is to disable pop-up dialogs in frame group options you can configure this in /visualthemes

Although it is in the outdated category, this mod still works. And it works well.

After setting it up properly and enabling scalefade setting to trade, map, character etc windows, and adjusting the delay to your liking, it adds a nice effect.

Although its a little pointless perhaps to mention if this mod is no longer being monitored by it's author... the one problem I have with this is when I try adding an enchant to a item in the character frame which already has an enchant. It doesn't work and this mod needs to be disabled for it to work.

Nice mod, pity its not being updated, although it works.

Hot, I'll look into eepanel when I get some time. Can't really do text in message frames without completely redesigning the frame, which is far beyond the scope of this mod.

Sorry for posting twice, but do you think it would be possible to add support for 'eepanels2'?

I'm currently working on a UI design that I think will blow people away, and if I do end up getting it to work it will use that mod for some textures, it can toggle textures on and off when entering combat and things like that and if it could 'fade' using your mod that would be so amazing, I'd probably hug you, then sleep with you...

Yup, shortly after I updated Bagnon and boom, working :P Thanks for adding the support.

I can't see anything else other then keeping up with new addons to support, maybe text could be supported? Like when someone types a sentence it will fade in on your chat frame? That's kinda a whole different way of doing it though.

Hrm, are you using the latest Bagnon? I just checked and it should be working correctly with Bagnon versions newer than a few weeks (I didn't check further back than that).

Thanks for the bagnon support, sucks you can't get pitbull in there cause I think it would be great looking for unitframes to fade in and out like that

Keep up the good work, and try and focus on efficiency if you aren't already.

Shouldn't really impact performance unless it's a huge frame with tons of children. But in most cases anywhere you can find those frames they're in non-FPS vital areas. I don't generally worry about my FPS while I check the auction house.
