Nick Completer

Nick Completer allow u to <TAB> complete a player his nick name.

just type in the first few carecter of his name and press <TAB> and it will give u the first match then you can press <TAB> again for the next match

if no more matches are found then it will put back the original text

it will look for posable matches in:
your currently selected unit
Frends list
Party members
Raid members
Guild members
You
last 20 ppl that whispered you
last 30 ppl from who you recived a chat message (including mobs)

Options are: (default value)
Enable / Disable (enabled)
Hight the matched text (off)
Casesensetive search (off)
Include offline guild members (on)
Include pet names (off)
Ovrwrite default whisper <TAB> behavior (off)

You can enable / disable these option in the interface that can shown whit /NickCompler or /nc

Blia A Fallenroot Satyr Forum posts: 28 File comments: 34 Uploads: 1	On Legion, Nick Completer seems to work fine, I haven't noticed any bug ... except this annoyance: Since you can meet players from other servers, now, Nick Completer adds the name of the server in the completion. IMO, there should be an option to hide the servername in the completed player nickname.

Znuff A Kobold Labourer Forum posts: 1 File comments: 6 Uploads: 7	Being an IRC users this annoys me a bit. 2 things: 1. The settings aren't saved account wide. They should be. 2. There is no space being added after name completed... or anything for that matter. It's incredibly frustrating that you have to type a comma or a space every time. The way it SHOULD work for people accustomed to IRC is by: - if the nick completion is at the start of the line, either add a comma (,) or a semi-colon ( after the nickname. - if the nick completion is in the middle of the line, just add a space after it

Blia A Fallenroot Satyr Forum posts: 28 File comments: 34 Uploads: 1	It seems it's not compatible with wow anymore because of the latest update (3.3.5). Nick Completer doesn't find the field (the horizontal bar) where we all type. To make it work again, just open the "NickCompleter.lua" with any Text Editor, search for ChatFrameEditBox (it appears several times), replace it with ChatFrame1EditBox, save the changes and voilá, it works again.
