Vex Runes
is an alternative to the blizzard rune frames.

Features
consecutive sorting of runes - available runes will always be displayed first.
The default by blizzard is to use runes that are available for the spending. By that it can happen that the runes aren't ordered at all and it's a pain to keep track of them. This addon features a sort function that sorts the rune by cooldown, making it way easier to keep up with your ressources.



Highly customizable
Design

  • Vertical or horizontal rune filling (left to right, right to left, top to bottom and bottom to top are possible)
  • rune sizes
  • You can choose to use a preset of rune arrangements or setup the position on your own for every single rune
  • rune background (visible when the rune is charging)
  • Blink color (a flash indicating that the rune has just been used)
  • Blood, Frost and Unholy rune colors
  • Setup the cooldown text (or disable it)

Choose when to hide the addon
  • Hide in vehicle
  • Hide in combat
  • Hide in combat, but show when targeting something
  • Hide when in a pet battle

I'm aware of a bug not sorting the runes correctly when 2 two runes are getting off-cooldown simultaneously. Fix should be up this weekend.

Hey fuda01, little sugestion to make visually better:

1. Unspent Runes Bright colors like is today.

2. Spent (recharging) runes Dark colors you have implemented.

3. New tempo effect Bright color, since the Runes will be unspent one.

You can easy tell how many are charging and how many u have. What do you think?
Basically you want to change the color of the runes that are recharging? That's no problem, I can implement that.

Really nice work!

Found a little bug!

Sometimes after a rune is filed its flash a random filled rune and not the one that got filled.

You can see this when you use only one rune. If you use all of your runes it works perfectly.

Just had an idea on how to implement it, without having to recode the whole addon. Shouldn't take too long to build the functions, but I dont know when I'll have time to code, probably not until Sunday.

Suggestions are allways welcome.
1. I'll implement the "target"-feature, the "combat"-feature is allready implemented. Go to options->Show/Enable
Edit: "target"-feature is implemented.

2. I dont know what you mean, could you explain again? Do you want a text? Because a cooldown text for the runes showing the time until the rune is rdy should be active by default
