You're exactly right - I put the code for it in the level 2 section without realizing it.

Equip in BGs only?

Is there a way to set up an outfitr to only eqip in BGs. I can't use the preset BG outfit because I'm on a druid and I need to use the shape shifted presets, so I need to have a cat form bgs only outfit along with my other outfit that doesn't equip in BGs.

Re: Re: Bullet Switching

EDIT: Sorry it took so long to get back on this, but that command seemed to fix the bullet switching at least until I logged out and back in and it went back to having the issue again.

With patch 3.1 the way ammo works will change a lot and this problem should go away (with a compatible Outfitter update of course). I'll keep an eye out for causes until then, but I haven't had any luck in reproducing it in order to pinpoint the problem.

This is a longshot, but try this command

/script Outfitter.Settings.AmmoLinkByName = {}

and then

/reloadui

and see what happens. I don't know that it'll do anything noticeable, but it may help determine which part of Outfitter is failing on your ammo.

I think I've finally solved the problem and have a build of Outfitter 4.5b2 on my site at wobbleworks.com. Give it a try and let me know if that fixes the problem, I'm pretty confident it will.

Thanks for posting that, unfortunately I missed it before it got taken down from your site.

I totally understand the position your taking and don't disagree with your choice at all. It's just a shame to lose such a great add on and it's developer. Hopefully Blizzard wil rethink their decision. I only see it taking away from the enjoyment of the game.

Anyway, good luck and I hope things will change so that we see you updating again.

Take care,

Fair enough, sad to see you disappear from the addon scene.

For the users its not the end of the world Outfitter is reasonably replaceable in 3.1, Seerah has a mod up to handle event managment on ingame equipmanager. Couple of LDB addons around as well I believe.

Just wanted to let you know...

I've used outfitter from the day you released it. Hope you see this...cause
that was my must have above all addons. Most ppl don't realize the value
of something that can change your whole gear set with a click. I'll miss it.
I know the new mananger in 3.1 will do part of its job...but doubtful it
can compare as a whole. Thanks for the what(damn has it been 4 years)
wow..I have given way to much cash to blizz.

Good luck man.

Well, I've used it for some time, and I've been pleased with it, but you're not going to get a whole lot of sympathy from me about this little "principle crusade" you appear to have gone on.

Removing it from addon sites was one thing, but publishing an "update" that wipes it from other people's addon libraries is, well how can I put this?

Ah yes.

Cry some more.

I guess I should have checked the text for this addon, and I might have seen the change of heart before I downloaded it, so maybe that's my fault. But as for your part? Deceptive and not at all nice of you.

So... I guess this means there will be an "Outfitter (Fan Update)" someone?

Don't agree with your decision... why punish us for something Blizzard did (which btw I totally agree with) but I guess you have the right to do what ever you wish with your code.

Well, on a positive note, now you will have more time for everything else is your life...

Sorry, that's one pissy move. Removing it from my add-ons as I "update"?

I've always admired add-on authors for their work. Even more admirable they'd do it "just because" or because they enjoyed the joy of thinking it out and creating it.

But to trick me into deleting it off my own computer?

Bad form.

Agreed.

At least the ItemRack guy isn't an arse.

I wasn't trying to trick you into removing it, but wowinterface doesn't allow all copies to be removed so I had to upload a 'dummy' file in order to clear out the download. Get a copy from a friend.

EDIT: I will try to find a way to make it clear that this build should not be downloaded, my anger is with Blizzard and with users who believe addons are worthless or that they're 'owned by Blizzard', not with the vast majority to appreciate the amount of time and patience it takes to provide a free product and service to complete strangers.

Right. How come my old copy doesn't work anymore then?
