OmniCC  Popular! (More than 5000 hits)

Version: 10.2.5
by: jaliborc, Tuller

Overview
OmniCC is an addon that adds text to items, spell and abilities that are on cooldown to indicate when they will be ready to use. In other words: it turns all the standard analogue cooldowns into digital ones.

Anything should work with OmniCC, from the action bars to the inventory, from the standard interface to your favorite add-on.

Dilemma (not a bug really, merely an annoyance)...

Small frame (ItemRack, I make mine small) I want cooldowns to show up on.
Medium frame (GotWood?, circular timer mode not bar-based) I don't need cooldowns on since it has built-in ones and OmniCC's obscure the totem icons.

Hardly game-breaking, but figured I'd post my situation in case there's some reasonable work-around (I'm amenable to code fiddling). :-)

size isn't the same ...

i use bongos & bagnon & omnicc (newest versions of all three!)

i'm having a problem figuring out scaling and font size and font style on cooldowns.

if i set the font size/scale according to my bag slot sizes, my actionbar button cooldowns are super-tiny.

if i configure the size/scale according to my actionbar buttons, the cooldown on my bagnon slots are super huge.

what is going on? how can i fix it?

thanks much!

I use OmniCC with PitBull + pitbull_altaura, and OmniCC seems to put timers on a random subset of buffs on my target frame when i target myself. Some timers even flicker on and off.

I like that it's customizable but would rather have Pitbull_AltAura show the buff numbers if it's not able to play nice with OmniCC.

Edit: Well I think I got rid of OmniCC's buff timers by messing with the minimum scale option as you described.

Hey Tuller, just wanted to let you know that as of build 7382 on the PTR, OmniCC 2.0.5 was making the game crash with a assertion error while trying to render texture.

I haven't tried 2.0.6 yet but it may be a problem that will be solve on the PTR side since other addon have texture problem (like TomTom whose little circles are now a bunch of random pixels).

Bongos2 appears to be doing fine.

Well, just a head's up it's worth investigating for you.

And while I'm here, thanks for all your mods :-).

[edit: Just saw the link for version history -- doh!. Thanks for fixing this. ]

Buff timers options - are there any?

The buff timers on x-perl are annoying.

On x-perl I have the setting to show buff timers if they are less than 15 seconds. OmniCC ignores this and shows them on absolutely everything, which is making the raid/party frames way too busy.

I was trying to find a way to have OmniCC now show on player/party/target frames, but the only way I could find to do this was turn off time display on buffs in x-perl, which killed my final 15 second timers.

Help!

That's not from OmniCC, that's from Pitbull. You can turn those off in Pitbull Global Settings -> Auras -> Cooldown Spiral (or something similar)

Error?

When I log in, I get a popup:
...mnicc\libs\LibSharedMedia-2.0\LibSharedMedia-2.0.lua:51: bad argument #1 to 'pairs' (table expected, got nil)

OmniCC works fine otherwise, and doesn't give me any other errors. Other then just clicking it off, anything I can do to get rid of it?

It's not so out in left field as it used to be. Now there are LibRock addons using the wowace distribution system, I guess an addon doesn't have to be ace based to use it.

Hello,

Please could you update OmniCC to follow Pitbull's setting for whether to display aura cooldown text? I don't want cooldowns shown for party unit frames, but they're showing up even though I've disabled them in Pitbull's options.

Much love for the addon itself of course, though - your babies, my place, any time.

cheers,

- Fin

Hi... updated to 2.0.6 the day it came out, with no errors. The past few days, I've been playing with HUDS and the following error started popping after I changed from ArcHUD. (Note. it shows with no HUD, SilHUD, Drathals HUD, MetaHUD). It disappears if I enable ArcHUD again.

Thanks for any help on this. Btw, this comes up as soon as I login but I do still get cooldowns on xperl buffs, so am not sure of the impact of this error message.
