Do you remember the old good CooldownHud by Marc aka Saien on Hyjal?
No?


CDHUD lets you place up to 12 button displaying your CDs anywhere you need.
Usefull for crazy guys like me that don't like actionbars

For every button you can set:
alpha transparency - /cdhud alpha <buttonid> <number> (min: 0, max: 1, default: 0.7)
size - /cdhud size <buttonid> <number> (min: 1, max: 300, default: 32)
position - /cdhud setup (then drag to move)

General setting are: *<SpellName> IS case-sensitive*
/cdhud exclude <SpellName> - blacklist spells you don't want to see, ever.
/cdhud include <SpellName> - opposite of exclude
/cdhud bind <buttonid> <SpellName> - Force <SpellName> to be displayed only via button<buttonid>
/cdhud unbind <SpellName> - opposite to bind

exclude > bind - a spell in the exclude list is out no matter what.
you can bind more than one spell per button, for example:
/cdhud bind 12 Blink
/cdhud bind 12 Frost Nova
First-come First-served, if you cast frost nova then blink the blink CD is ignored.
For spells which CDs start simultaneusly (Fire/Frost Ward, shaman's shocks) the one minor spellid prevail.
You can NOT bind the same spell to two or more buttons, for example:
/cdhud bind 9 Counterspell
/cdhud bind 10 Counterspell
CS is bound to button 10, button 9 is free.

CURRETLY WORK ONLY WITH *SPELLS*

not working anymore....
Anyone here knows how to fix it? Seems the trouble is caused by using "this" global variables....
Help would be appreciated

Is there any way to turn off wands triggering all 12 tiles? Every wand shot brings up 12 boxes with a 1 in it. I have tried to do the exclude command with the triggers/spell names that made sense but none worked.

Great mod, love it!

Got everything set-up and stuff, I changed the size of the CD-buttons as well. Problem is, whenever I log out, and then later back in again, my changes are never saved. The positions to which I move 'em are saved, but not the changes made to the size.

It's tedious to start ajusting the size for every single button each time you log on. Have I missed something here, I mean is there a command for saving the size adjustments or?

Help is much appreciated!

I really like this mod but is it still being worked on? It would be nice if it had more buttons, support for item cooldowns, text size and alpha changing for in and out of combat.

Well i tweaked the addon a bit for own use, so i got what i wanted just added these lines inbetween the setup triggers and OnLoad:
getglobal("CDHUD_Button"..i):EnableMouse(0);
getglobal("CDHUD_Button"..i):EnableMouse(1);
Works just perfect now =]

I'm (slowly) adding variable number of buttons (min: 1, max: 36), show in combat only and hide on mouse over.

Is there any chance if you could add the 'click-through-buttons' function as it was in CooldownHud before 2.0.3 was released. This is all I'm waiting for at the moment, cba to watch at those bars, and it is a pain to play with solid CD frames in the middle of the screen.

And, is there any chance if you could try to get an account on the AceSVN, if you ever are gonna develope further on this (more functions). It is kinda handy with the ace community's UI updater.

Variable number of buttons is in the TODO list.

Humble request

Hello,

Would it be possible to increase the number of skills monitored?


I used to use DAB to do exactly what this did using conditionals, but I had 2 full bars full of icons. I'd position the bars right above the player and target frames, 2 rows of 6 each. Since DAB has not been updated, this would be a great replacement if not for the lack of buttons.


My UI used to look something like this, but the memory usage was so great that I decide to start fresh:

Gee that brings back some memories. I remember creating some crazy layouts in FlexBar and using CooldownHUD to show my cooldowns. Hard to believe how far WoW has come since then.

I have this really vivid memory of configuring FlexBar and CooldownHUD back before Honor existed, back before ranks, back before BGs when "world PVP" consisted of zerging at TM/SS. Ahhh such fond memories.
