Skada is a modular damage meter with various viewing modes, segmented fights and customizable windows. It aims to be highly efficient with memory and CPU.

Usage

When you first start using Skada, there will be a window created by default. This window can be extensively customized in Skada's configuration panel; click the little cog icon to access a menu, and then click Configure. Depending on your user interface, there may also be a minimap button allowing quick access to this menu.

Skada supports multiple windows. To create a new window, click Windows in the addon's configuration panel. There are three built-in types of windows - Bar, Inline, and Data text. Bar is the classic damage meter window, and is very customizable. Inline shows the meter in a horizontal line, which can be useful for integration in custom user interfaces. Data text shows just one item at a time, and can also be displayed by any LDB display addon, such as Titan Panel, ChocolateBar, or ElvUI.

In the normal Bar window, you can left click on specific items for more detailed information, and right click for less details. At the very "top" is the list of all saved fight segments. Some data modes have several detailed information views. In this case you choose alternate views by holding certain keys pressed while clicking. For example, in Damage mode, you can Shift-click a player to see what enemies the player caused damage to. Tooltips will display how to reach the different views.

You can also use window buttons for selecting fight segment and mode directly.

Scrolling in Skada is done with the mousewheel.

Absorbs and healing

Would it be possible to just merge these into just 'Healing Done'? I know it sounds silly but so does splitting them up

Here's the real annoyance for me:

When you are looking at 'Aborbs and Healing' the mouseover tooltip only showns absorb effects... I have to tab back and forth between that and the regular healing done when I want info on the other healers use of spells.

Seems like an unnecessary annoyance? It adds a lot of clutter to the window as well;" Absorbs, Absorbs and healing, healing, total healing" I mean wow! Just merge them will ya? :P

Having a problem that the meter does not hide in arena/pvp, and if you go into the options to check the box it instantly vanishes as it should

Titlebar

hey i have a problem with the titlebar after the update, the titlebar texture changed automatically when i relogg..thats sucks a litte bit ( Actually the bar texture was "gradient".

I am using 64 bit Win 7.
It displays no data for me either.

Im having an issue as of today where when I have Skada turned on and I try and log into WoW my WoW stops responding and window's has to force close it. This is only happening when Skada is enabled and I have never had this problem before.

i am using a rather think border, and my bars extend to the outer edges of the border instead of staying inside them. it looks terrible, how do i fix this?


example, you have a picture frame, and instead of displaying it correctly, you tape the picture over the entire frame so you couldn't see the frame at all. ya something like that let me know if you want a screenshot
