Localization
wMarker is currently localized in:
  • English
  • Spanish
  • German
  • French
  • Traditional Chinese
  • Italian
  • Russian
  • Simplified Chinese
If you know any other languages and are willing to translate wMarker into any other languages please head over to the localization page hosted at CurseForge!

Notes
  • Please suggest any new features or anyway I can improve the AddOn in the comments or at my portal!
  • If you're looking to hook KgPanels to wMarker, the frame you want to anchor to is "wMarker.main" for the marker frame, and "wFlares.main" for the world marker frame. Good luck!
  • This is my first AddOn, I hope you like it!

Sexy marker! Only thing its missing IMO (and correct me if I'm wrong) is the ability to have the marker hide when you do not currently have a target. Other than that, its great!

That feature doesn't exist, you are correct.

I've used a marker like that before and I found that feature to be quite annoying so I never put it in mine

Looks nice, haven't tried it yet, but is there a way to turn off the borders? Borders don't jive well with the rest of my ui.

Great addon, certainly made marking easier for me.
I only have 1 suggestion, would it be possible to add an option to display the icons on more than 1 row?
First thing I do when I download a new version is go through the code and change it to display on 2 lines (which allows it to fit perfectly into my UI).

Just been playing around in game using wowlua to see if this would be possible and it seems easy enough (I can PM my test code to you if you want to browse through it).

The new option to hide the background also seems to hide the borders.

Edit: Also slight bug I noticed, the name for the star icon in the xml file appears to be $parent_circle (probably just a missed copy/paste you forgot to edit).

That feature was actually added in the most recent update. Type /wm options and Check "Hide wMarker background"

My brother's been asking me for such a feature, if you'd like to PM your test code (and it works :P) I'd be glad to give you credit.

If you guys really want it I can add the option to hide the borders and background separately, I just figured if you were going to hide one you were hiding the other :P

P.S. I'll be changing that star name lmao, thanks.

This replaced an entire bar and set of macros for me, thank you very much!

I would also like to point out that the MMOUI Minion has issues with this one. The version that's reported on the site and the version in the .toc file aren't the same, so it errors out. I got the fresh version, changed the version from 1.0 to 1.3 and it was happy!

Thumbs up +1 favorite

Where have you been all my life? I was using LuckyCharms2, because I was lucky enough to find someone hosting a functioning version on his own site, but 401 broke it pretty much beyond repair. I was about to go beg the forums to see if anyone knew of an addon like this, but I thought, 'well I'll go look through the Raid Mods category just in case.' And lo and behold, here you are.

This is 99% exactly what I want in a raid marking addon. My only further desire would be that it would either plug into my LDB Display (i happen to use ChocolateBar), or that I could figure out how to set the 'strata' so that this would just... ride over the Chocbar and 'look like' it's an ldb addon : p.

Other than that, I lurve your faise for making this addon, and I only wish I'd found it a year ago : p.
