What?
Spamcast was created to help reduce the current spamming of repeated messages on the global channels (trade, general, etc...).

How?
This addon does so by giving messages by the same user a cooldown before they are able to show up on your chat screen again.

This ensures that you don't lose any messages that were posted on the global channels, yet you don't receive the repeated spam too often.

With the default cooldown of 90 seconds, I could reduce spam by factor 8-10 during peak times on my server (Kazzak EU).
This is the reasons why i'm publishing the addon.

Controls: /spamcast /sc /spamc
/... enabled to enable
/... disabled to disable
/... status to show status
/... cooldown to set message cooldown

Future tweaks
There isn't a SavedVariable handling currently, but slash commands are working. Adding savedVariables will be done in the near future.

I might add more advanced content/source filtering, but only if I can make it up to an acceptable quality.

I made the addon because clearly the spam filter (option in /interface/game/social) is not doing the "adding cooldown to repeated messages".

1) This blocks the same message from being repeated, however when the same player starts repeating another message, the other message will also get a cooldown.
This allows for "all content" to show, just not repeated content that is posted shorter then the cooldown.

2) The most important part of the preview windows are the timestamps, which shows the difference in amount of messages that are coming through.

Also why did you make this addon. Theres is an option to block spam in the standart UI. And for me that does the job.
