ShinyStats

Version: 2.0.3-r13
by: Xiiph [More]

ShinyStats 2.0
ShinyStats has been completely rewritten in order to make it easier to maintain, improve performance significantly and clean up the code.

Some of the new features include:

Caching
Heavily utilizes caching of pattern results, improving performance significantly.

Toggle Colors
You can now enable/disable individual colors, as well as resetting them to defaults.

Profile and Per-Spec Profile support
You can now enable per-spec profiles!

Useful Artifact Relics
Color the Artifact Relic type based on it's usefulness to you (Unusable, Usable, Usable (Active Spec))!

Procc chance Equip transformation
Transform certain Equip: effects to more clearly state their use and effect!

Primary Stat
Recognizes players current specializations primary stat, and colors it accordingly. Eg. In the text "... increases your primary stat by 1,600.", the part "primary stat by 1,600" would be colored as Agility, for a rogue, and as Intellect for a mage.

About

ShinyStats was inspired by a mod called StatStain, made by Nymbia in 2007.
Its goal is to make various stats of an item easy to separate from each other and make usefull stats easy to distinguish.
Perhaps you would like all stats not beneficial for your class to be greyed out, while usefull stats have various happy colors? No problem!

Features

Colors the various stats of item tooltips (including the comparison tooltip)
Replaces the word "and" in sockets/enchants with the separator of choice – sentences such as "+25 Agility and +15 Hit" becomes "+25 Agility, +15 Hit"
Configuration is done using Blizzards addon interface
The color of each stat can be customized to fit the needs of the user
The various extra features provided by the addon can be turned on/off
Profile support

Configuration

/shiny or /shinystats to view command line options
/shiny config to view the blizzard addon interface controls for ShinyStats

This issue is solved in the latest beta at WowAce.

I will upload it here in awhile after its been tested a bit more.

Try downloading the latest version from here, I uploaded it to WoWI yesterday.

See if the issue remains, if it does, please take a screenshot of it!

Also, is it the buff tooltip or the tooltip of the buff food in your bags?

EDIT
I experienced this issue my self with various patterns/cooking recipes.
Its a very odd issue as it seems the tooltip function is hooked twice and run twice. Failing the second time.

I will look into it but it has a low priority. If its a complex issue I will most likely just disable checking of recipies/patterns for now.

PERFECT! tysm

Also I should report - although I have not yet installed the latest version, I was noticing that on buff food, the colorer (word?) tries to color stamina but instead the code of the color goes in front of it so it shows like this (not exact) |cbff56790stamina where I believe |cbff567 (or w/e) is the code for the color and then 90 stamina is the buff.

Got some good news for you!

If you go to the ShinyStats wowace page, here, you can download the latest beta!

This beta contains a configuration dialog for changing colors using a color picker, and some other minor changes!

Let me know how it works if you decide to try it.

Awesome, as I said no worries or rush. Only reason I ask is so I can change the color of hit and haste, I think, which have nearly the same color. Looking forward to it. Thanks

EDIT: You're a god...

Glad you like it!

Currently you have to do it in the LUA file. Either by adding the variables to the saved variables file, overriding the default values in the ShinyStats.lua file, or changing the default values altogether.

Im hoping to implement a simple UI and/or slash commands to set the various colors soon, though.

Until then hang in there!

Firstly, FIRST, and downloading now, thanks so much for the upload!

EDIT: Works perfectly, no errors, and as far as it seems, no double info in the tooltips like people with StatStain were having (at least for me). However, are there any slash commands to change colors? Or is that all done in lua?

Thanks again for awesome mod.
