Patch 2.1:
Just a little under 2 years after FilterTradeSkill was written, Blizzard has finally included a tradeskill filter to the base UI. As a result, this addon is more or less redundant and will most likely not receive further updates.


FilterTradeSkill allows you to filter your trade skills (including rogue poisons) with an intutive filter that allows filtering by name, description, and the item's reagents. Check out the sreanshots to see more...

Sadly this will not work with enchanting since enchanting uses the CraftFrame and this modifies the TradeSkillFrame. I have been planning to add Enchanting support for a long time, but since I don't have an enchanter, there is little motivation. However, when TBC goes live, I plan on rerolling and my new character just might have enchanting.

Whoops. I updated this a while back and uploaded something in the beta section, but forgot to update this copy when 2.0 hit the live servers.

No? FilterTradeSkill works fine in 1.12.

Any updates? KC_ET and filtering (support and bugfix) PLEASE?!!

I love your addon can't live withouth it and other addons like tradeskill addons so crap with their "I give you lots of features in double sized windows" attitude is so stupid! Thanks for this nicely overthought addon!

name filter issue

After the new patch the function for filtering by name is not working properly. Typing in the name of something just causes an incorrect item to come up (though with the text colored to the skill level of the actual searched for item).

Kael and I got together today and we've worked out how to make FTS and KC_ET play nicely together. Version 2.2.4 of FTS should be compatible with the next release of KC_ET.

The icon placement isn't much trouble to workaround by using MoveAnything, but the # of tradeskills option is one of my favorite things in this mod.

Hopefully something can be worked out soon. Till then, I'll just have to get by without KCET.

Yeah, um... KCET hooks the same functions I do. So... they just won't work together until I can get time to work with Kael on a solution.
