Tired of the amount of messages related to looting items, reputation, experience, money, and so forth? If that is the case then this is the addon for you! MiniLoot is designed to summarize these type of messages in concise one-liners.

Features

Interface options for easy customization.
Change how messages and item icons appear.
Include bag and bank item in the item counter.
Mark items with appearances you have not yet collected.
Hide junk items, set filters for what quality of items are shown when soloing, in party or raids.
Show artifact power as loot instead of the default message.
Shorten faction names when standing changes.
Show tooltips when you mouseover links in chat.

Odd, I gotta look into this later. Keep in mind this only works when you receive items and money, not when you "loose".

Yes i know

Its not working when i receive items that i have in my bag too... this is bad if i get items for enchanting and i can't check if i got everything because i had some of the same items in my bag

mony works fine btw

New problem with trading is that you get items shown also if you don't get them. e.g. if someone trades you with something and than abort it or if you enchant something the chat says that you just got that epic bop boots that you enchanted inside the no-trade window for someone.

Also do you know that your addon side says we are at Version: 1.7.9 but you can only download a zip file called MiniLoot-1.7.8_release with a toc file in it that says Version: 1.7.7 X-Curse-Packaged-Version: 1.7.8 release

It's a bit hard to keep focus all the time, when using two sites, in this case I use curse to help with translations (if someone wants to) then it packages for me and I upload on wowinterface, I can mess up the numbering sometimes. It's not a biggie, the files uploaded are the latest at least, next upload will fix the numbering issue.

The tooltips are still the old once, so gonna rephrase a lot of them and other languages have to help translate the phrases at http://wow.curseforge.com/addons/miniloot/localization/ if they want native support in their own language. In any case, keep me updated on breaking changes, bugs, errors, so forth. The only issue I'm seeing with 1.8.1 is that it doesn't respect my chat filter settings anymore

I had all the item/money/rep etc in a separate chattab (miniloot also showed there) and unchecked from my default tab (general).
With 1.8.1 miniloot puts its info in DEFAULT_CHAT_FRAME it looks like.

Edit:Got this error as well (can't tell you exactly when was in raid combat)

Dridzt, try 1.8.1b from curse repo and see how that one works. I'll update WoWI version once curse is stable again.

I fixed a currency bug too so currencies can be once again, printed in the reports. :P Testing it out myself to try find more bugs, so far it looks like a okay port, surprisingly. Edit Uploaded 1.8.1c at http://wow.curseforge.com/addons/miniloot/files/ I tried to fix some issues, added some error handling and translation fixes due to overhaul in the settings dialog. Currencies won't error anymore and handled an issue with items that contain "x" in the name, leaving the matcher to believe what followed after was the number of items looted, and that of course was completely wrong. I'm not sure if this is intended or not, especially because the keystones still appear as icons, but I prefered the old way. Just so you know. Also, I saw in the change log that you did something with the Pet Battle chat spam, but tbh I'm not seeing it. As in, every time I have a battle it still prints a crapload of lines in my chat window. Did you mean to get rid of those lines entirely, or move them to the specific Pet Battle Log window? Or did I misunderstand and am I still stuck with them? __________________ Just remember... if the world didn't suck, we'd all fall off.

Sorry for being a bit slow to update WoWI, Maelynn. I just uploaded 1.8.2 on curse and it's pending here on WoWI as well. I just took a moment to release some hotfixes and get some feedback, a bit quicker over curse as I use SVN.

If you use 1.8.1 from WoWI then yes, there was a bug with currencies that I corrected. Archaeology fragments is currency so it applies to it as well. It is supposed to show icons like always, if not then it is a bug I must fix, but try 1.8.2 first and tell me if it is still there, last time I checked the bug was fixed in that version.

I am working on a Pet Battle feature under extras, it is supposed to hide the default Blizzard spam from the default output frame and display an alternative formatting.
The idea is to print summaries of health changes each round, meaning damage taken + healing done = health change, this happens for each pet. It's not yet done, it only works on the English client as I am yet to add pattern matching and use localized strings to make it work for others. If you enable it on a non-English client all it would do is hide the messages but that would be it.

Not much have changed functionality wise, only improvements in coding and adding more possibilities for more features. :P

Got this when trying to put my pet into a cage

ERROR: MiniLoot could not log regular item loot event with the following parameters: {CHAT_MSG_LOOT, Ihr bekommt einen Gegenstand: [Finchen die Schnecke]., [Finchen die Schnecke], 1, Leilameda, nil, nil} Please report this, and any other error messages that may have appeared, to the developers - thank you!

Also archaeology shows same error as Maelynn has reportet looks like this (all in yellow no classcolor):

Pet Battle is not working, as I told you
