This depends on how you want to color it. The way it works is just that hp texture is black, and 80% visible. The background is class colored.

Running into a problem with the new version. I fresh installed .5 but when I do /injector unlock I can't get the frame to drag by holding down on the drag handle.

I downgraded to .4 and draggin is not a problem.

How would i go about reversing the background color with the foreground color, i.e. making the foreground bright and the background (health lost) dark.

sigh.. and just when i thought i got sane dragging. so can anyone confirm this? for now, here's my suggestions

You installed 0.5, anchor was reset to center, and there you got some overlapping invisible frame with mouse input enabled, and it eats mouse clicks for anchor. So, try disabling all addons, and if you still won't be able to drag then it's a problem

After I lock Injector in place then /reloadui, the position changes.
after you typed /inj charspec it actually turns on only after you reloadui. before it's still global. if that's the case then you probably figured it out already.

With or without "charspec" and after /reloadui or reboot it still moves up and to the left (top left anchor).

Have tested 0.5 on a clean wow install and theres no problem with draging. So it has to be an addon collision of some sort.

Anyway I´ve also been playing around a bit with textures and fonts and can swap just fine but with textures the filling tends to reshape itself into smaller areas than the background, like this:



Any idea what causes that? Ive been looking around in the other LUA file to see if I could find any settings to shrink it but that file is so... "cody". Im no good with code.

Edit: Oh and for some update down the road is it possible to add an easily understandable line to edit coloors in the config lua? Just some RGB values to fiddle around with for mana and health or anything similar. ^^

only think i can assume is that you got something wrong with your tga file. Like texture is not completely filling your image, or some alpha channel that cuts edges or missing at all. Or file is saved in wrong quality.

That's how i save custom textures (In photoshop).:
1) width and height of file should be x^2 (32 64 128 etc), otherwise it won't load
2) fill alpha channel with white
3) save it as 32 bits/pixel (dunno if that's right but working)

Wow, this addon is awesome - looks exactly like my grid does. it doesn't use any processorcycles or mem. (ok, very little) Verified this with addonusage.

Currently I have to use grid just because I desperately need the borderindicator for aggrovisualization (the red corner is too fuzzy ) If you could implement this I'd be your biggest fan! Forever!!

And perhaps a MT-indicator could find its way in too

I put the old version on and it works without moving between reloads. I put the new version on and after reload the frame moves.

Thank you very much for a great mod, I didn't think I'd ever find anything to wean me off of Grid. Your config file was super easy to tinker with, even for a non-coder, so thank you especially for that! I tested it out on my several of my toons. I found that it worked cleanly on my shaman with only a few minor nitpicks to get it to shape up like Grid (and it performs much much better). On the priest and druid, though, it was a bit more of a mess because of the additional buffs, hots, and shields, which I think could be mitigated by a missing buff sort of option, and a couple of additional indicator slots.

So, avalanche of requests! Would it be possible to...

- add a right side indicator in addition to the others? (and while I'm asking, since I love the 3 in the topleft corner, how about 3 in all the corners/sides too? I'm envisioning all my druid's HOTs on the bottomcenter.)

- add an option in the config to adjust the out-of-range option alpha? (I like the contrast to be even more dramatic.)

- add an optional low mana indicator or two, possibly with threshold settings, as an alternative to manabars? (Most people really don't need the whole bar, they just need to know whether 1: the casters have enough mana for the next pull, and 2: whether they are almost bottomed out and in need of innervate/manatide/a hasty retreat.)

- add an option to show certain buffs only if they are missing? (You instruct an earlier poster to use "missing = true" but just like him, I've tried every iteration of that for water shield and no dice - I can get water shield to show up when present; I can't get it to indicate when not present. Clarification would be wonderful; a way to get the mod to recognize that fort is fort be it single or group would be even better!)

- add an option to grow the grid down and over - with 5 rows and 8 columns, rather than 8 rows and 5 columns? (I thought setting InjectorConfig.orientation to HORIZONTAL would do this, but that, alas, is for health bar orientation, not whole-grid orientation.)

- add a way to set the scale on a per-group-size basis? (ie, force a 40-man raid grid to scale to .75, while leaving the scale for other raids untouched.)

- add a way to change the color of DEAD and GHOST? (It's an {arbitrary?} shade of green now!)

For the right side indicator simply add this line in config.lua (starts at line 31):
["right"] = { point = "RIGHT", size = 10, },

and for 3 bottom indicators the code should be (untestet):
["bottom1"] = { point = "BOTTOM", size = 5, xOffset = 7},
["bottom2"] = { point = "BOTTOM", size = 5, xOffset = -7},

that's all to use the new indicator for your spells!

change line 37 in injector.lua

frame:SetAlpha(0.4)

to 0.2 or something

Finnley - thanks for your pointers, everything you posted worked perfectly. I actually considered just adding my own before posting but thought surely it wouldn't be that easy. Glad to be wrong. I did find the spot you note in the injector.lua but an option in the config file would be appreciated too!

i've added border (actually it's 4 indicators), maintank status, ability to assign spells to multiple indicators, and options to grow groups and units in all sides, and scaling down 25+ raids.
gotta check out libHealComm-4.0 and test it a bit before releasing new version
