ColdUI  Popular! (More than 5000 hits)

Version: 6.0.3
by: Coldkil [More]

As everyone has realized now, i have stopped working on the UI basically because i have stopped playing WoW altogether.

I feel sorry to not have written here before, there is a lot of people that has shown a lot of support on my work and i didn't thank you enough for that.

I had a lot of fun playing with the UI and following your feedback to improve my work.

I hope that something in the future (maybe another game) will let me do another work similar to this, as it's been by far my best WoW experience during my play time.

See you on next journey and projects.

All-in-one UI pack, working for every resolution, just try it and keep it if you like it! Mess with the code, but i don't support any edit.

Features:
- healer layout available: just set the option to true and /reload ui
- you can enable/disable pretty much any plugin
- extended focus frame available, with portrait and castbar
- datatext can be enabled/disabled too, and background panel can be toggled on/off
- change textures/fonts as you please
- you can setup your personal layout, and if you mess with thing, reset everything

SLASH COMMANDS:
/ch will make appear the help - everything is there
/align brings out a grid, very useful to move things around

Other options can be found in the relative addon config.lua file (or in game if it's provided).

AURORA:
i use an edited version of this addon to match all the Blizzard frames with the ones i designed. In game you should disable all options but the map reskin and the "replace normal game fonts" one.

ACTIONBARS:
just open config.lua in ColdBars addon, it's everything there. There are the same options as before plus some additional functionalities like vertical bars and the possibility to costantly hide pet/stance bar.
Button skin is embedded into the bars addon.
NOW PLUS MOUSEOVER!

About screenshots: they may show MSBT and an aura tracker addon, they aren't included in the package. Sorry, i still havent updated them, hope to do it asap.

CREDITS:
All credits go to respective addon authors.
Thanks to haste, for creating oUF.
Thanks to Caellian, since i've learned destroying you awesome layout.
Thanks to Tukz, i've taken some features from your incredible work.
Thanks to WoWInterface, MMO-Champion and WoWHead for their communities which have helped me a lot.
Bags are a stripped down and reduced to the bone version of Stuffing.
Cooldowns are a "same of above" version of OmniCC.
Runebar is a "same of above" edit if nibRunes.

HOW TO INSTALL:
- Make a backup of your Interface and WTF folders, then move/delete them from WoW directory.
- Unzip the archive.
- Put the folders in the ZIP archive into you Interface/Addons folder.
That's it!

ADDONS LIST:
- alDamageMeter

- oUF_Coldkil
- cError
- ColdBars
- ColdPlates (a very very heavy rDiabloNameplates edit)

No there aren't trackers like this. It's my will to redo the raid frame to be more useful for healers, but atm they are only like this. I know they need a good rework.

If you want/need something better, just disable the ui raid frames in the options and use a better and more suited addon like grid or vuhdo.

I know it's not a good answer but making trackers for healers isn't that easy, especially since i need to know beforehand what healers need to track

I was using QuseUI prior to switching to your UI and the trackers he had for his raid frames are AMAZING for pretty much any healing class i've played if you needed some sort of inspiration. He has the listed trackers right on the front-page of the addon info on wowinterface.com

That is called Homespun. In the UI anyway here are some other fonts (pixel and not) for people who just wants to try them - but i suggest to use only pixel fonts, changing to a normal one would require a lot of work due to outline.

Gonna give a look for sure. Quse has done a really good work on that UI, could take insipration from there.

EDIT: i just found that the awesome indicators are no more than oUF tags (based on freebgrid layout). I thought it would have been much more difficult, but i i was wrong.

I think i'll go with some ries already this afternoon

Hi, great UI btw, been playing around with it a few couple of days and looks brilliant imo. Ofc as mention, the only thing I'm currently missing is the buff/debuff trackers on the raid frames, which, hopefully, will come very soon according to what being said.

Tho I got a minor problem with the bars they are hiding, tho, I couldn't find anything that would suggest the should be hidden within the lua codes etc. Not that it's a huge problem since I fairly know all the keybinds but for tracking cooldowns it's a different story.

And again good job with the UI, looking forward to see how this will expand

- Crall
I found out how to do it, that's what you get when you skip a little of the text at start, and I apologize.

That would be awesome mate, and if you could also write raid debuffs into the raid frames that would be FANTASTIC, anyhow love the UI I plan on continuing to use it.

I also can't get vuhdo or grid2 to look anywhere nearly as good as your raid frames which is why it would be awesome if they had trackers and raid debuffs.

I'm at a good point at the moment. I made trackers working, and a raid debuff center icon should be doable aswell.

Longest thing to get is the table of the needed spellIDs XD i think i got pretty much everything, but i don't have healers to test the frames.

I'd love to have screenshots to post when i'm finished with this.

GridStatusRD_MoP or GridStatusRaidDebuffs lists ALL of the meat and potatoes of what healers need to know that is on the raid in the lua coding. This is if you needed an insight on what needs to be included. PVE wise in raids. I actually healed with a grid+clique combo for a while and GridStatusRD has always been update regularly since BC.

HI, really great UI, im really satisfied of how leight weight and simple this UI is. I've been playing around with weak auras to create some timer for buff & debuff for my different characters, now I just want to disable the debuff shown on the target, I can't seem to find out how to disable it, so I would really appreciate if someone could tell me what to do

- Thanks in advance; Picture for those who might(?) be curious by any chance. Gonna try to make it pixel perfect but it's still in progress, and change the colour of the background to something that would fit better, like the background on the power bar.

Don't mean to be a pain in the neck but when could we expect an update with the new indicator and debuff tags to the raid frames?

To enable/disable buff and debuffs on frames, just open config.lua and the layout section will have everything you want - just set variables true or false; it's everything commented so you will find easy what you need.
