Smooth Quest

Smooth Quest is an addon that modifies the Blizzard Questing interface:

- Adds gradient coloring of objectives red -> green in the blizzard quest tracker
- Adds level and difficulty coloring to the quest tracker and quest log
- Adds quest progress sounds:
'More Work?' if you have more objectives to complete
'Jobs done!' if your quest is complete
- Adds output selection and gradient coloring for quest completion and objective completion messages through Sink-2.0
- Colorizes item and unit tooltip quest info

You can select the output options via /sq /sqmoothquest or the blizzard interface options addons panel.

This addon is not complete yet. Options need to be added for the various functionalities, as well as handling of quest links in chat.

Once thing I've noticed is that the colored levels don't show up well on the beige background in NPC dialogs. While it's a very neat idea, it's not very helpful when you can't make them out. :-/ I would like the option to have those uncolored (as in black) so that I can actually see them. __________________ I'm not an idiot. I'm just harmlessly psychotic.

I am working on options. This is just a basic first working version atm.

I'm aware of the coloring issue.

The second picture was some weird upload bug. I forgot to remove it.

As for me putting it in Standalone, it has no dependancy on Ace, it has Ace3 libs included. But it shouldn't matter to users one single tiny bit.

The error occurs on line 152 inside the function SQ:OnTooltipSetUnit( tooltip, ... ) - SmoothQuest\\SmoothQuest.lua:152: attempt to index field '?' (a nil value). I had the quests "Winterfall Activity", "Threat of the Winterfall" and both quests shares the mob "Winterfall Den Watcher", here is the tooltip shows up with the same quest multiple times. http://hosting01.imagecross.com/imag...moothQuest.JPG Edit: The version I'm using is the latest on WoWInterface.com r77670. I just had this happen to me in STV on my BE priest. There are 2 quests that ask you to kill Lashtail Raptors (10 for one, 15 for the other) - one from Grom'gol, the other from Nesingwary. When I moused over a raptor, the text for both quests kept appending to the tooltip until the it went off my screen, then bugsack went off and the info disappeared entirely.

Here's the bugsack info:
SmoothQuest\\SmoothQuest.lua:152: attempt to index field '?' (a nil value)
AceHook-3.0\\AceHook-3.0.lua:76: in function <Interface\\AddOns\\Ace3\\AceHook-3.0\\AceHook-3.0.lua:73>

Note: I am using the latest build from the SVN; I am unsure if that is the same as what is currently released here on WoWI.
