miniTip

Version: 3
by: mikma [More]

miniTip, aka. mikma's nifty Tooltip is an addon that modifies the way your default GameTooltip looks like.

miniTip colors only players. Border is colored by reaction color and Name is colored with classcolor. Titles in the names are also disabled.
miniTip makes the tooltip stick with the mouseover and with spells and items in actionbars it's docked nicely right next to them.

My recommendation is you do not add any other tooltip-modifying addons because I cannot quarantee they will work together.

v3:
* Almost complete rewrite, GameTooltip line detection should be better now. No more double level lines.
* Added: Hide in combat

v2:
* Added: Target of Target -frame above the GameTooltip
* Added: Class Icon on the right side of GameTooltip
* Added: Race Icon on the right side of GameTooltip
* Added: /minitip -slashcommand to toggle features

v1:
* Release

Pretty much done now, but still not released. Need to check that everything works.

I found a couple addons on Curse, LookinAtMe and Defective's Tooltip, that only do Target of Target and diables tooltip in combat, but it seems silly using 3 tooltip addons.
Sure, I can have a look at those features. I'm currently "rewriting" this addon, adding more features and making the code slightly "better" We'll see. currently ToT is in and so are some other nice features.

I'll have a look later, and see if I can improve / rewrite the whole addon to work better. I know of one error that's happening but it's so rare that people might miss it. (phew)
