HealerButtons  Popular! (More than 5000 hits)

Version: 2.2.006
by: Saiiyna [More]

NOTE NOTE NOTE NOTE******

You need to delete your Saved Variables for this addon or it WILL NOT Work properly with the 2.0 Patch..... Sorry!

Renamed from Healer

This is a very small click heal addon. It currently only works in groups and solo (I am working on the raid portion) . It adds 2 small buttons to each player and party frame. These buttons can be right, middle or left clicked to cast spells, shields or cures. I did not make it very configurable because I wanted to keep it small. Classes supported are Priest, Druid, Shaman and Paladin. When you mouse over the buttons the tooltip displays what spells are cast by each click. I have no plans to add customization to this and in no hurry to do the raid portion since I do not raid but it will get there. But if you make suggestions I will give them due consideration.

There are now lots of slash commands they are explained in the healerbuttons.txt file or you can type:
/HB info

Dispel Magic
Power Word: Fortitude
Shadow Protection
Divine Spirit
Mark of the Wild
Thorns

If I have missed a ranked spell you would like please let me know and I will try and add it.

slight modification idea

I have an Idea that could enhance this addon. I would like to first say thanks this addon rocks. I like it simplicity.

Could it be created that when you hovered over any one of the three buttons the corresponding haeling spell could put a grayed out or gradient colored area showing how much the average heal would replace on the players health bar.

Thanks

Modified version of HealerButtons

Hello everyone,

With Saiiyna's permission, I've created a modified version of HealerButtons that I've uploaded to the "Optional files" section. There were some tweaks that I wanted to see so I've applied those over the past few weeks and now I'm sharing those efforts with everyone. Changes include:

- Party members with pets will now have buttons for healing.
- The icon used for each button will now match the configured option for Left click.
- Enhanced the appearance of the tooltip for improved readability.
- Fixed the saved location of the 2nd button when using 3 button mode.
- Removed top/left button placement variants for simplicity.
- Removed 'dropform' functionality which is no longer necessary with the 2.3 patch.
- Updated toc for 2.3.

Please send all bug reports or feedback directly to me (CSilv) or in the comments section for the patch. I don't want to cause any confusion between the original version and my tweaked version.

Yes I got my arm fixed but this is my first time at the computer and I can't stay on long (not very comfortable) I just want to say I have been informed by some friends playing with it that the mod works on 2.3. It looks like I will really be hampered until sometime in January.

Sorry all and I hope you all can hang on till then for anything you need.

Sorry to hear about your surgery, but do you think this mod will work for 2.3? I love this mod and it's very helpful.

I hope your shoulder injury heals quickly. I had similar problems once. Anyway, there is no hurry to fix this. I just use /hb unlock and put them back and them lock them down again. It only takes about 15 seconds.

I have been continually trying to fix this issue. It only happens when you use 3 buttons. I keep finding small things that make this happen and fix them. My last test I deleted my Saved variables for this addon and they stopped hopping completely. I am not sure if that is the true solution and I am still looking at the code. I will update things as I can find them. Unfortunately I have a shoulder injury which makes mousing very painful, so I am not really playing at the moment. Any work on this will probably be delayed til September when I can really get back online.

Sorry!

As you can see I have version 2.2.005 installed. The middle button moves up or down occasionally even after I use /hb lock. It seems to happen when my status changes such as being mounted, in an instance, party size changes, I honestly can't say as I don't notice it at first. I am sorry I can't be specific as to when it happens. I find I have to do a /hb unlock, move it back and then lock it again. It doesn't move more then the distance of the height of the button. It is merely an annoyance and the addon works just fine.

My buttons are configured in a horizontal row. The middle button is button 2. I noticed tonight that when I received a buff that button moved. This seems to only affect party members, not my character.

I assume that upon entering a raid group there is an event that fires. I will look into this.
