Seems the problem has been fixed with the 3.3.0.9 version

Thanks a lot for your great addon, and for the time you invest on it.

Sorry if this has been asked before but how do you use healbot with a dual spec. Everything I have read doesnt seem to work. I have the latest version. As long as I stay online it is fine. As soon as I exit game completely and start WOW fresh my Alt spec settings are gone.

I downloaded and installed 3.3.0.9, however, the TOC files says this is version 3.3.0.2.

I too once had issues with my healing settings not "sticking" when switching specs - (I have holy & disc specs on my priest).

Not sure which step actually resolved the issue, since I did them all at once, but after doing this, my spec switching has worked flawlessly...

1. I deleted my healbot wtf settings on my healing toon. (You'll lose your custom settings when you do this, so it's prudent to first save a backup wtf folder, just in case...) -

2. Log into primary spec and set spells.

3. Log out. Log in again to see that they're still in place. (They should be...)

4. Switch to your secondary spec. Set those spells.

5. Click on the Reload UI button at the bottom of Healbot's spells page. Check spells to see that they are all in place. (Mine were at this point.)

6. Log out.

7. Log in again. Switch back to your primary spec. You should see your primary spec spells.

Not sure if it was starting with clean wtf files, or reloading the UI after setting the secondary spells, or a combination of the two... but since doing this intial setup, I have not had a problem. (You also could skip #1 to start with, saving your custom settings-- if #2-6 don't work, then go back and try the process again using that first step...)

Again, not sure if I need to do this, but now when I do modify my spell setup, (on either spec), I use that Reload UI button when it's all done, and not once have I had an issue with switching specs-- my spells are exactly as I set them. And I haven't had to do the "log in--log out--log in--log out" dance since that first time, either.

(((Hmmm, so now that I'm nearly done typing this, maybe all that is needed is to "set" the spells with the Reload UI button...)))

Instead of ReloadUI (which doing a bad stuff in certain areas), you can just logout and log back in.

Please add "Flash of Light" in the list of monitored buffs for paladins. That way, we can monitor Flash of Light HoT on the bar, as a buff.

Noticed in 2nd page that someone asked if roles were supported somehow, and didn't see an answer. Thinking about changing back to healbot from grid (can't even remember why i left). This would be nice to have though......

Just for heck of it, I changed some spells and tried the log out-log in (without doing the reload UI step) and my changes did not stick when switching specs.

Then I did it again, using the reload UI step, (but I did not log out/in), and everything "stuck" once the UI was reloaded... Both specs were correctly switched.

I'm curious, what bad can happen from reloading the UI? I've found it to be very helpful, (in a variety of circumstances). And, in the case of having all my spells stick to their respective specs, it seems to be the one thing that consistently sets my spells, if I make adjustments.

Sometimes, with multiple addons, a reloadui can cause an addon to fail. It can also cause any session saved settings to not stick, usually this is with multiple addons that conflict in some way behind that scenes that you dont normally see. Also, some textures may get mixed up or read wrong, and sometimes a reloadui can cause an access violation. Again most of this is due to running multiple addons at once. It's rare but it can happen.

Chat tabs ordering changing in only Blizzard know which way.
Surprisingly, only reloadui doing it, no amount of logoffs/logons do.

Those are all things that I didn't know...
I have a ton of AddOns running--in fact, my entire interface is customized with different AddOns! I wonder if one/some of those adds are what's keeping the healbot spec spells from sticking in the first place? (Now curious why the Reload UI sticks them?)

Definitely food for thought! Regardless, I appreciate knowing what I've been flirting with--will definitely slow down on my usage of that tool!

So..when I click download I'm presented with a file named 1263171253-HealBot_3.3.0.11.zip

However look at the version tags in game..both in chat & in /hb options
