I've decided to get back to my UI and World of Warcraft. I'm doing a full rewrite of the code to be an ElvUI edit.

DoomKittyUI is based of Cynthara UI with permissions of the author to re-create his UI. We've changed alot of the settings and some AddOns for the sake of an easy one-click character based installation.





1. Backup your current Interface (World of Warcraft folder -> Interface + WTF (+ Fonts if exists))
2. Copy over AmexiUI Interface folder to your World of Warcraft folder.
3. Start World of Warcraft and use the UI installer.
4. Have fun!

Excellent UI dude, loving the theme of this. Great use of space too.

Question, I'm using a slightly smaller resolution so everything is piled on top each other (but functional). Got most things to where they should be, but cant seem to move down the rep bar. Which addon handles that?

First of all, thanks!

Second, hold down alt key and drag the xp/rep bar. I've taken a smaller addon and putted it in DoomKitty folder as a module, I will however fix another xp/rep bar in the next update.

Also, I'm trying to make the UI to work with all resolutions. It's abit hard for me since this is the first time I'm actually writing lua by my own.

Throwing some suggestions your way. Mana color is hard on the eyes. Lighten it to a like lighter blue. Something like sky blue but more blue?

Your fonts that are 16 px pixel fonts change those fonts into a pixel font that looks good in that size and that does not look distorted.

Use Aurora to skin everything. You won't regret it

We're currently making some changes to the UI. For example, PitBull gets replaced with oUF, a few bug fixes will be made (some frames was miss placed and some missing) and dynamic positioning depending on the players screen resolution.

Although, it's hard for me to make this since I don't know lua fully, but it's a fun project.

Hello, Thank you for providing the resources, I am a Chinese player, a problem can not be displayed in the lower left and lower right corner of gadgets (eg fps and ping). Show only background困惑:

I will try and take a look at it. Can you try "/sldt config" and change the font to see if it's the font that's messing up?

Action bars

I believe something may be a little off but when i loaded in the ui everying loaded fine accept actions bars.. The actions had this big gap between the chat channel and the bars. Maybe a sizing issues but is that going effect everything else?

what resolution do you use and do you use window mode? Please use windowed(fullscreen)/fullscreen or it won't work. We are working on ui scaling so you can use whatever but it's coming slowly.

Really nice UI you've recreated!
I really like it

Just one simple question, is it possible to configure the "DoomKitty" addon itself? I want to move around with the unitframes, and it seems like it's not possible to enter the PitBull options, even though it is listed as an included addon (I'm assuming it has been implemented into the "DoomKitty" addon).

Hey Zetix!

1. Currently you cannot change positions of frames in DoomKitty, but you will be able to in 1.3 update. Currently working on a new exp/rep bar together with boss frames, bugfixes and some minor preparation for UIScaling which will come soon.
2. PitBull4 is not included, my bad for not removing it from the list. It has been replaced by oUF.

I'm currently working on both keeping the UI up-to-date and adding new features to it together with a website so people can see our plans with the UI, a roadmap, external download etc. It's kinda hard to keep everything up since I'm the only developer on both the UI and the website. I'll send a notice to Orjan to update our included addons!

And thanks, it did take a while to recreate it with alot of code to hold this UI together but it was all worth it. We have big plans for how to get the UI more attractive and easy-to-use for every player who wants to use it.
