Mists of Pandaria Notice
The official 5.0 release will be ready in a couple of weeks time for general testing. Until then an unofficial patch is available here.
Credits
Sinsthar (base & original concept) - Garstiger (continued) - Dridtz (continued) - Smacker & Meorawr (continued)
Background
Designed to give visual or audible cues to the user in response to in-game events, such as gaining buffs or debuffs. Types of cues range from simple texture displays to stack counters, timers to timer bars, and are fully user-configurable. Can be animated or have sounds attached as well.
How to Use
Tutorials will be written and linked here soon, stay tuned!
Reporting Issues
Go to the CurseForge site and Submit a Ticket. Please do not suggest features via the ticket system, and instead use our UserVoice forum.
If you do submit a ticket, we will reply if more information is requested. If no additional information is given in response, we will mark the ticket as Invalid. Feature suggestions are immediately marked invalid.
Feature Requests
There is a UserVoice forum for adding and discussing new features. Submit all feature requests here, but please do not duplicate requests. Duplicates will be exterminated. Painfully.
Looking for Help!
We're always looking for a helping hand. You don't need to be an expert coder to help us out, we've plenty of things that need people to oversee. Of course, knowing code has some benefits - ever wanted to get a feature implemented? Maybe fix a pesky bug that we said we'd fix two months ago? Now's your chance!

Ultimately, I am asking for this because I am a multiboxer and having to watch secondary power types, such as Holy Power, across a team of 5 Paladins is very difficult (as if multiboxing heroics and raids are not difficult enough already). If the ability to watch secondary power types was implemented I, among many other multiboxers, would definitely use the feature. However, we are a minority and if such a feature is not in the cards... then it is not in the cards -- I'm sure you already have enough on your plate already with PA's current state of development. |

I am having an issue with importing custom textures ingame and was wondering if anyone else had experienced this or had a solution. As you can see the PoM, Lightweave Embroidery and Rapture icons look fine but the Power Torrent and Devine Fire seem to be twice as bright as the original .tga file when imported ingame.

Good day everyone,
Not sure if this is the best place but I've spent the better part of the last week looking for a suitable place to ask these couple of questions, so I'll apologize in advance if nothing can be done. I am working on a new UI and I am having a bit of trouble trying to get a custom timer texture to work properly. The first issue I am having is that I can't get a new separate folder to show up on the in game config menu, so I've had to resort to putting the new textures in an already existing folder within the TimerTexture main folder. Second I am having trouble configuring the texture itself so that the numbers roll consistently like in the already existing textures. My custom textures sometimes show the current time and part of the next number in the sequence or they move up or down or left and right in the timer frame (More than likely this is the result of the placement of the numbers within the texture but I want to confirm this). If anyone has or knows of a quick guide or some pointers on creating timer textures I would greatly appreciate it. Google has not been nearly as kind as I had hoped. Thanks. |

As for adding them to the dropdowns, there's a few tables that might need editing to make it appear (there's no way for us to just list all the files in a folder, API restriction). Search PowerAurasBase.lua for the TimerTextures table and add your other one to that, it should then show up just fine. Or it might make everything explode. |

Powa junk typing in chat window
I am having a problem with POWA. I try to set up an aura that will only show my combo points. When I set it up it also shows in my chat window a message "check combo points" every time I do an attack or finisher. I have tried several ways to set it up so it won't incessently show the message, but I can't get it to stop. It also says "compare aura not found and then gives me a list of stuff, like "check helpful aura on player"
Does anyone have any suggestion how to get rid of this? Thanks in advance. |
