    Grid has been continued as Plexus by Doadin. Use that instead; Grid has not been updated since 2018 and will not be updated in the future.

    Grid is a compact and highly configurable party/raid unit frame addon.
    The compact grid of unit frames lets you select a group member quickly, while keeping a good overview of the whole group. It shows as much information as possible without overloading you. It allows you to customize what information you see, and how you see it. It works in both party and raid groups, and supports pets and vehicles.

    Want more features? The Grid core tries to include only features which are generally useful for all classes and roles, but makes it easy to add new features with a simple plugin API for developers. Over 75 third-party plugins are already available!

    Type “/grid” for options, or right-click the minimap button, DataBroker launcher, or Grid frame tab.

    Language Support
    Grid is compatible with all World of Warcraft localizations. It is currently translated into English, Deutsch, Español, Français, Italiano, Português, Русский, 한국어, 简体中文, and 繁體中文.

    To add or update translations for any language, enter them on the WowAce project page. New and updated translations will be automatically included in the next version of Grid!

    HINT: The WowAce interface for adding translations is quite cumbersome. To make the process easier, you can use the Export function on WowAce, copy the exported data into your text editor, fill in your translations, and then paste them back into WowAce using the Import function.
    Credits
    Grid was originally conceived and written by Maia and Pastamancer in late 2006. Phanx has been the primary developer since late 2009. Jerry wrote the original pet support code. Mikk designed the icon. jlam added some advanced options for auras. Greltok has helped a lot with bugfixing. Finally, lots of people have contributed translations!

    You might check out my mod "Gyro: Get Your Raid On!". It lets you set up macros that are run when you enter and leave raids. In your GyroStartRaid macro you can use this:

    /script GridLayoutFrame:Show()

    ...and in your GyroEndRaid macro you can use this:

    /script GridLayoutFrame:Hide()

    I was wondering how I could get the range checker working on my DK. I enjoy being able to tell which of my raid members is out of range of me.

    Make this macro:

    /grid standby

    drag that to your hotbar, and you just made a quick toggle to turn grid on / off as you please.

    Is there no option to switch the Raidpets from the bottom to the top or anywhere else? it sucks at Malygos to have the playercontrolled pets on the bottom

    Can this be set to show ONLY in a raid?

    Basically, and I mean no offence by this. I want to use XPerl for Party Frames but as soon as I'm in a Raid I want to use Grid instead.

    I do love the layout and style that grid + clique has to offer. The only problem I have is that you cannot specify rows or columns. I have searched and posted in a number of threads asking if this was an addon already available, but was unable to come up with anything. This would be the ideal mod for me if that option could be implemented.

    I still use healbot over grid for the fact I can set my 25 man raids to 9 columns across and 3 columns down. If grid could do the same, I would switch without hesitation.

    Would it be possible to add the following functionality?

    1:An option to make the group you are in at the top of the group list?

    2:Select raid members to be in a custom group?
    Maybe alt:click removes the target from normal group the places target in a custom group. alt:click again to remove.

    For target healing assignments it would be a great help.

    I've asked this in the past but was never replied to. If you could at least comment on it that would help.

    For reference on this functionality see healbot. It would be nice to have the option to use this mod in that fashion.

    Does someone ever had the same Issue: On no special event Healthbars of 2-3 people disappear and stay black instead of showing healt bar. Happened to different classes. Disappers on /rl.

    Very annoying because I didn't change my setup at all.



    rox shoud be a dk at half health and shem a paladin at full health.

    Is it possible to change the alpha of the whole grid frame? I'm not talking about the alpha I use for seeing out of range folks, I'd just love to have grid a little bit more transparent.

    Disappearing Frames
    I've been using this addon for a while. I've really never had a problem with the addon with the following exception. If I DC during a raid or group and come back on, Grid is gone. I can't log out or fully leave the game and have Grid come back up. It only comes back up if I log out after the event is over. Not sure if there is a fix for this. Wouldn't be much of a problem if I wasn't a healer but can't heal if I have no frames. Thanks

    Two questions:

    How do I turn Blizz Party frames off when in a party and only show grid.

    How do I make grid show health defecit as a whole number, instead of trucating it. Eg; Show -1200 instead of -1.2k.

    Hi Pastamancer,

    Firstly fantastic addon, so thank you for all the time you and your friends have put into this.

    Can i ask if you will one day release 2 versions of grid Or an option to use the old aggro indicator. I personally have a fairly good PC and really liked the old aggro indicator.

    If the answer is no to both, is it possible you list the last version of grid with the old aggro. I assume its the one before 3.0 but just to be sure. ^_^
