Mists of Pandaria Notice
The official 5.0 release will be ready in a couple of weeks time for general testing. Until then an unofficial patch is available here.
Credits
Sinsthar (base & original concept) - Garstiger (continued) - Dridtz (continued) - Smacker & Meorawr (continued)
Background
Designed to give visual or audible cues to the user in response to in-game events, such as gaining buffs or debuffs. Types of cues range from simple texture displays to stack counters, timers to timer bars, and are fully user-configurable. Can be animated or have sounds attached as well.
How to Use
Tutorials will be written and linked here soon, stay tuned!

Looking for Help!
We're always looking for a helping hand. You don't need to be an expert coder to help us out, we've plenty of things that need people to oversee. It doesn't do well with macro...
I even put the spells in seperate action bar and hidden the bar with Dominos though the addon should be capable of checking the spell if its ready or not. |

I just logged back in after a month off, and downloaded this newest version. On most of my 50+ auras, I don't have the texture set to glow; most look better without it. But the timers used to be just numbers (non-glow effect), without the black box around them. That allowed me to position the numbers right next to, or ON TOP OF a texture effect for those with black space. But now the black boxes around the timer numbers overlap or cut into my textures, and it looks horrible. I love this mod, but now I am going to have to completely re-do all of my textures that have timers, and I have so many that are spaced *just so* next to their neighbors that it's going to be a royal pain - I might need to completely redesign some of them. Edit: I made some more auras recently, and actually found some that looked better with glowing textures and non-glowing timers. That's the opposite of my issues above with other auras. It would really be nice to be able to choose glow or non-glow independently for each.

I've a problem with showing Sacred Shield and the actual shield proc that comes with different auras as they both have the name Sacred Shield. Simply typing Sacred Shield as the name it uses the basic buff and I've tried with exact name and using ids for them but they don't work. If I use Sacred Shield as the name and input an id into exact name both will show at all times when another of the buffs are up and if there's no name it disappears as I close powa menu. If the name is wrong it doesn't show up even with the id. (I've taken the spell id's from wowhead links as I cannot see them ingame, anyone has any idea why and are the wowhead spell ids the same?)
Sometimes it's just too hard to see if the shield proc is up and whether I should use my instant FoL or not.

Complex Conditions?
I have a druid.
The first aura I made was one that displayed when I have 5 combo points on a hostile target. Which is nifty. then I thought, how do I make an aura that tells me when to keep Mangle up? It would need to (a) check that Im in the appropriate stance AND check that the debuff was not present on the hostile target. I can only see to set one conditional at the moment... how do i make it display auras, conditional on buffs that are present, only when the druid is in specific stances? |

How do you solve the mighty problem with macros?
It tend not to be able to show when action is usable when i made a macro even putting it into another bar hidden by dominos #showtooltip /cast [nomod:shift] Shield Slam; [mod:shift] Shockwave; And #showtooltip /cast [nomod:shift] Revenge; [mod:shift] Concussion Blow; The problem is with Shockwave and Concussion Blow... I like to have them as action usable but they tend to fuck up when i use Power Aura. |

Any way to check spells just by SpellID?
I want to be able to tell the difference between Sacred Shield buff and proc, but Power Aura's treats them the same because they have the exact same spell name. Sacred Shield (Proc) http://www.wowhead.com/?spell=58597 Sacred Shield (Buff) http://www.wowhead.com/?spell=53601 I try to check just by SpellID, but Power Aura's doesn't let me do it because it needs a spell name with it. |

Not working at all...help?
I'm probably doing something wrong here. In the activation window, I have it set to buff. In the name spot, I have the word power. The test shows the aura just fine. So, when I cast either power word:shield or power infusion, the aura visual should trigger, right? Nothing happens. Also, if I have the full name of the spell spelled out, then I should be able to check the Use own Texture box, and the icon for the spell should be use, right? If that box is checked, then there is no spell effect, even for the test. I can set the time to appear, but there is no aura. I have uninstalled and wiped the savedvaraibles.lua files, nothing is working. Please help me.
