i really love the simplicity and neatness of this UI, but is there a way to make it so it doesn't handle my chatbox at all? it's really driving me crazy how small my font/chat box is, and i use tabs quite frequently so not being able to use those with it is extremely frustrating. i've tried making it so snailUI doesn't handle my chatbox, but all that does is make it permanently stuck to the left of my screen, still unable to move it or use tabs or anything :<
thank you in advance, if anyone can help. and thank you for making such a nice UI ; o ;

This UI is really beautiful and as minimalistic as I never hoped to find. Lots of thanks to the maker of it! That's simply outstanding.

Still I have a couple of questions, they were already asked earlier, still if there is some new info I might have missed, I need to ask again:

1. Can the size of the text in chat be changed? I tried this scheme: turn-off SnailUI - change the size in standard interface - turn-on SnailUI again. After this the size with SnailUI turned-on was still very little, impossible to read. Any other variants?

2. Can the color of the frames be changed in some way, maybe somewhere in lua-files? I play rogue, and I simply hate that yellow color.

3. Can that damage-meter be turned-off somehow? As a person who doesn't visit raids or instants and plays alone, I simply don't need that info...

Thank you for the answers and again - the work is very, very beautiful.

Been playing my blood DK recently and wanted to use your UI so i tweaked a few things to match my druid layout.

Now tracks blood shield, bone shield and horn on me - as well as diseases on target:

if anyone is interested - here is the pastebin (DefaultWithClassBar) - http://pastebin.com/FL4tB7V8

Just wanted to say I like this interface. Nice execution and originality.

The only thing I don't like is how the chat and map are in prime screen areas when they are rarely, if ever needed in combat/raids. This would generally be fine but moving either effects the oh so elegantly centric design.

This is just my opinion. Like I said, really nice work.

Cool UI some issues

I like this one very minimal but there's a down side for me with out having in-game editing capabilities and the player/target unit frames not being there on my warrior (standard blizzard frames)

Hi mate - i've done exactly what your asking, all you need to do is change the buttons from 10 to 12:

Code:

        Player =
        {
            Anchor = "BOTTOM",
            Buttons = 12,
            Height = 24,
            Width = 48,
            X = 0,
            Y = 5,

            TextureCoordinate =
            {
                Bottom = 0.7,
                Left = 0.1,
                Right = 0.9,
                Top = 0.3
            }
you can also add a third action bar by adding it like so:

Code:
Player3 =
        {
            Anchor = "BOTTOM",
            Buttons = 12,
            Height = 24,
            Width = 48,
            X = 0,
            Y = 29,

            TextureCoordinate =
            {
                Bottom = 0.7,
                Left = 0.1,
                Right = 0.9,
                Top = 0.3
            }
Note: you will need to adjust the layout of the unit frames, map, dps meter and chat to do this - i found Snail's files easier than most to understand, download Notepad++ and have a play with the files.

The action bars are "Player" and "Player2" by default - i just added "Player3" and copied the code from the first two to create my extra bar

my default.lua file can be found here: http://pastebin.com/fyE2sVwp

my DefaultWithClassBar.lua can be found here: http://pastebin.com/sBCPGnxj

See my earlier comments to get an idea of what my layout looks like - Snail, i hope you dont mind me posting this?

Cheers

Absolutely LOVE your UI, but have trouble using it since it clashes with one of my AddOns. Whenever trying to use ncHoverBind, I get errors, and cannot bind my keys. I've narrowed it down to something within your UI, as it works perfectly fine with the default UI, and every other UI I've tested this with since MOP had released.

Code:
Message: Interface\AddOns\ncHoverBind\ncHoverBind.lua:247: Attempt to find 'this' in non-framescript object
Time: 11/11/12 23:01:33
Count: 4

Interface\AddOns\ncHoverBind\ncHoverBind.lua:247: in function `register'
Interface\AddOns\ncHoverBind\ncHoverBind.lua:261: in function `?'
Interface\FrameXML\ChatFrame.lua:4358: in function `ChatEdit_ParseText'
Interface\FrameXML\ChatFrame.lua:4052: in function `ChatEdit_SendText'
Interface\FrameXML\ChatFrame.lua:4091: in function `ChatEdit_OnEnterPressed'
[string "*:OnEnterPressed"]:1: in function <[string "*:OnEnterPressed"]:1>

Locals: (*temporary) = <table> {

 2 = <unnamed> {

 3 = <unnamed> {

 4 = <unnamed> {

 0 = <unnamed> {

one issue

hey there, very nice ui at all but i have one issue with customizing the classbar. I tried to scale the combo and powerbar down to 256, the width of my playerframe. Unfortunately, the combopoints did not fit into the bar. Does anyone know thats my mistake?

Not at all, I encourage others to customize their UI to their heart's content.
